Overall this place is a adequate for a conference. But there are things that they definitely need to improve on here. The Reed Center is very welcoming. It almost has a library atmosphere to it. When you first walk in here you are greeted by a hush. It's almost eerie. There is an information desk to your left, at times there is no one manning this desk, but there is a screen to inform you as to what room is being used for what. Also on your left is a corridor that connects to the Sheraton hotel. Moving forward you can either go upstairs or to the main conference room. For this review, that will be the main focus as I never went upstairs. The main room is huge, so huge that they can divide it up into three areas. Seems great when you think about it and you need space, but somehow it kind of turned into a bit of a nightmare to deal with. Noise travels in here, loudly. For what I was attending I was sitting on the far left of the now divided room. Everything that was being said on the far right of the now divided room I could hear clear as day. You may be thinking, "Well, the room is divided, how is that so?" When I say divided, it's not divided by anything more that curtains. So you hear, and nearly see everything else that is going on in that room. It made it hard to focus.Want to know what made it harder to focus? The fact that even though it is warm outside, you may need a winter jacket to keep yourself from getting hypothermia. Not knowing this, I had no warmer clothes and I suffered. I made frequent trips outside to warm up.The outside area is beautiful. There is a pond with a fountain in it and a path for a stroll. A covered area with benches to take a break. The facilities were tidy and well maintained.

What a fantastic conference facility! I'm a member of a professional finance organization at Tinker AFB, and today we had our annual Professional Development Institute at the Reed Center. I loved the mix of professionalism and comfort here. The facilities were top notch and the staff was wonderful. Outside, the landscaping and water features along the walking paths were a very welcome sight. I highly recommend a relaxing walk around the south and east side of the building. This is a great spot for a conference, and I was very impressed today. It's also worth noting that the Reed Center staff served a Mexican lunch today and it was delicious. Yum!

I was a vendor here for the Made in Oklahoma Fest. I didn't have time to take any photos though. It's a nice place. It's large and not cramped. The bathroom was huge and clean. I actually took a few minute break and sat on the bench to send a few business texts before I went back out into the madness of the convention. The only gripes that I have is the escalator jumped as it went up and made an awful thud thud squeeeeeek, thud thus squeeeeeeek sound that was annoying. The sound eventually was drowned out once people started coming in but then when it was time to load up, it was very noticeable again. It also felt like they turned the AC off about 15 minutes before the fest was over. It was extremely uncomfortable and hot breaking down and loading up.I plan to do other fests and shows there when they have them.

We had a high school reunion here. Very nice facility. Nice staff. We had heavy hors d'oeuvre meaning cresent roll pimento and chicken sandwiches, fruit plates with dip, Thai chicken on a stick, cheese plates, swedish meatballs and a fried chicken possibly also Thai. As I wasn't on the planning committee I can't say if this was the committee's idea to keep costs down or this was the only option. We did have real plates and silverware and glasses to use. Tea and water stations were kept full and empty/dirty plates were politely taken off the tables. As it was summer in OK and hotter than all get out the air conditioner was working wonderfully. Room does have a small dance floor. Bathrooms were very nice. Parking was easy. They are next to the Sheridan, but their parking doesn't overflow into the Reed Center's parking. I work in state government and the Reed Center is used for all types of gatherings. I'd recommend it.

The Reed Center is a well-maintained, spacious and versatile space for conferences and other major events, with an attached Sheraton hotel for the out-of-towners. The staff generally can be counted on, though in some cases it's more of a reactive than proactive thing (climate isn't right in Room X, didn't check the status of Request Y, etc). They're pros, though, and it's certainly the best venue for anything in the Midwest City area; you have to head downtown to find anything remotely comparable. A great conference center for Oklahoma City. There is a large ballroom on the second floor, plenty of individual meeting rooms, a medium-sized gathering room on the first floor, and a theater-style classroom as well. Oh, and one other tip: There are some truly ghastly portraits of important folks to your immediate right as you walk in the main entrance. Be sure to have a glance and marvel at what I presume could only be nepotism, where an aspiring artist connected to the project used his connections for a commission exceeding his capability.
