Red Plains Plumbing

In 2019, Red Plains replaced a section of pipe on the main drain leading away from my home toward the backyard fence. Over the course of several years, I had issues with the drain clogging periodically but couldn't ever figure out why. This year, my significant other and I had a different company scope the drain with a camera in the hopes of getting to the root cause of our repeated clogs.We discovered that the work Red Plains did in 2019 involved REDUCING the diameter of the drain by one inch. Plumbing 101: Drains are only supposed to get bigger as they progress away from a building to the sewer main.We calmly contacted Red Plains to see what, if anything, they could do. They said the worker who did the original work was no longer with the company and also that they couldn't guarantee work done so long ago. Ultimately, they offered no kind of recourse for us and did nothing to fix the problem they created.We had to hire a different company to repipe the drain from the reduced section all the way back to the house, about $6,500. None of this would've happened if Red Plains would've done the job right in the first place OR remediated their original "mistake", which is actually more like plumbing malpractice.Do not trust this company.

Great service. Easy to schedule, given a heads up before the folks arrive. Both plumbers were extremely professional, were able to take care of a list of things needed in our home, and charged a fair price for time and labor. Have already used a second time and will do so in the future.

Some guys from Red Plains Plumbing came out to clear a slow washer drain but they just managed to get their snake stuck in my washer standpipe. Instead of apologizing and figuring out how to fix it, they claimed that this happened because of my drain and they would have to go straight to digging up the sewer line for $7,000 to $10,000! I told them I would not be doing that and asked for other options so they said a supervisor would call me back and left, abandoning their snake in my drain which was now completely clogged and backed up into my washer and kitchen sink...Fast forward through a couple of days of frantic calls to Red Plains which they didn't even bother returning and I called another plumber for emergency service. They were NOT complimentary and let me know the snake should not have been put through the washer standpipe and its four 90 degree turns, should never have been forced in until it knotted up, and after they removed it that Red Plains had used the wrong kind of head on the snake which was broken off inside the drain! What was just a slow drain was now a serious issue and I had spent over $700 but was much worse off than I started! I want to support small businesses like Red Plains because they're supposed to care more about their customers. Unfortunately with Red Plains, they weren't able to provide the resources, professionalism, and knowledge that a larger company would. Their office manager called and tried to help figure out a way forward but must have been overruled because a return visit to fix the problem lasted less than 15 minutes and Red Plains sent me an email saying there was nothing they could do. When I tried to find out what happened (again leaving many messages with no return calls) they just told me I should go with another plumber!Following their advice, I called a larger, more reputable company and what a difference it made! In less than the time it took Red Plains to get their snake stuck and block up my drain, the experienced plumbers found exactly where the head of the snake was lodged in the Y with a nearby floor drain, sent a camera down the floor drain to look at what it would take to remove the stoppage, and cleared the stoppage through a nearby cleanout that the Red Plains plumbers had just ignored! Instead of defaulting to the most destructive (and expensive) option, the new plumber had the tools and experience to correctly diagnose the problem and figure out a way to fix it where Red Plains couldn't. To cap it all off, Red Plains flatly refused to refund the charges for their "drain cleaning" which started this mess (be careful with all the fine print they put in their invoices which make you wave their liability for damages they do) so this was a costly lesson for me.In the end, what it comes down to is that you want to work with a company who will do what they say they will and help you even after they make a mistake. Based on what happened to me, I want to warn everyone that company is not Red Plains Plumbing. If you're considering hiring them then I hope the same thing doesn't happen to you too!

She was in dire need of a new hot water heater and contacted you after seeing your commercial on TV. You helped her with the paperwork and got a crew out there same day. I just want to give a shout out to the team at Red Plains Plumbing because they have done such a great job for me on a very difficult project. From calling and requesting service to communications with the guys who do the work, I feel they have gone above and beyond in keeping me informed and following through every step of the way. I had a major water leak that due to unusual circumstances was not easy to diagnose. I got bids from 3 different plumbing companies. Not only was their quote the lowest but I had a close family member that had used them previously and was pleased with their service so I chose them. My project was a nightmare for them. So much mud and muck, freezing conditions, challenges every step of the way. No way would I want to do what they battled through but with 100% professionalism they got it diagnosed and repaired for a fraction of the cost of what was quoted by other companies. I won't hesitate to call them for any plumbing issues that come up in the future. Thank you Red Plains Plumbing team!

I called red plains plumbing for issue having with my hot water tank. They quoted me a $99 service charge and then the price of the part and as long as not over 1 hour that would be the price. They get here and the plumbers tell me there is a 155 charge to have them come for first hour on top of $99 plus $15 fuel charge plus $30 for part. They were here less than 30 minutes and my bill was $300. I was totally misrepresented with the original quote which I would not have had them come and was referred by my water softener specialist. I called Brenda the service manager and she said that: "I guess we should do a better job explaining all the potential charges". I asked for a price break because I was not told the total cost and she did not give me one. I will highly recommend to all my friends and on Facebook never to use this company. The plumbers were nice and I have no problem with the service but this was very non-professional. Jim Lowry

Ok everyone!!!!Red Plains Plumbing was our answer for an issue that was ongoing in our home for over a year. We have a tankless water heater and it was going in and out of hot water. After multiple plumbers and companies, these guys found out the issue and fixed the problem. On top of that, they were so professional, courteous, listened to our frustrations, and helped get us the best price possible on new equipment that was needed. Darien was so knowledgeable about our issues that others weren't able to explain. They were able to get what we needed in a hurry and he made us a priority, which was an amazing feeling for a family of 6. They even stuck around longer than usual after the job was completed to make sure we had all our questions answered and everything was working properly. Such the best customer service! I would highly, highly recommend Red Plains for all your plumbing needs, 1000%!

These guys were awesome. We had a pipe leak, a broken water heater and water was escaping from our first-floor bathroom to our basement. Called Red Plains Plumbing for an emergency plumber in Oklahoma City and got a faster response, a plumber came here within a couple of hours. He was able to identify a pretty tough problem easily and also replaced the water heater with a tankless one. He didn't tear up our tile floor, instead of went to the source in the wall and saved a ton of money. We will definitely be calling these guys again in an emergency!
