Good luck getting anything fixed when your home is under warranty. I had a list of about 4 things that was ignored. I tried calling the builder for updates, no answer. I will never buy a home from them again, nor will I recommend them to anyone.

Purchased my R&R home 2 years ago with a white kitchen. This was my first home with a painted white kitchen and I was pretty excited when I purchased this home; however, the kitchen was crafted/painted very poorly. The kitchen was custom made (no pre-fab wood cabinets) and within 2 years, kitchen cabinet doors are falling off, hinges were installed improperly, the paint chips and rubs off each time you simply wipe down your cabinet doors and where there's a knot in the wood there is a yellow stain coming through the paint and don't get me started on the drawer below the oven...it has turned a dingy yellow color because the oven exhaust is just above the drawer (poor design). I have asked other painters and they say its simply because they didn't prime the cabinets before painting. I also recently heard that painters who painted our house and others in the neighborhood were fired due to poor work quality. With how our kitchen looked after 2 years (and I can honestly say we are not hard on our things. We take pride in our house - inside and outside) and finding out recent info, I got fed up and decided to submit a warranty request to R&R Homes to discuss the issues and get this fixed. I feel like there was no point in even submitting the request, they simply disregarded my issues and just responded back stating I exceeded our 1 year warranty and they sent a copy of the warranty, no other questions asked and no discussion, just a simple disregard for the issue. I get that our warranty has expired and I understand the parameters of the warranty, but your kitchen craftsmanship and painting is horrible. This should not happen to any kitchen that's only 2 years old...period!! It really has made me upset to think that this can't be fixed knowing that R&R Homes knew of the issues with the painters and can't own up to it. I'd be willing to work with them and even pay for some of the repainting because I understand some of the flaws could be caused for normal wear and tear...but I assure you, most of these issues are not from wear and tear. It's also sad to think I've referred two friends to buy R&R Homes, that won't happen again.

Millie was nice. Other than that I wish we didn't buy this house. Over the first year the kitchen cabinets are janky, cracking and separating. Any shelving or custom pieces in the house are separating from the wall and/or the paint is cracking. I should NOT have to caulk and repaint within the year. There's evidence everywhere that someone shot nails all over our house which explains why you slathered on thick paint everywhere. They tried really hard to hit the piping through the wall of our jacuzzi tub. (Pictured) I'd call Craig but he's as useless as the day we met him. Did he tell you he left a chunk of metal in the ditch and it broke our riding lawnmower? He couldn't even be bothered to call us back or remove it. We heard through the grapevine about that business partnership you burned, I wish I had known they were the ones who shot nails into our now leaking roof and broke our brand new wooden fence just before we moved in remember that? Remember when you played dumb about all the pipes that were cut and missing in our attic? I bet they just took back their work. I also wish I knew that the red dirt all over our bathroom when we moved in was because the gopher infestation you were WELL AWARE OF under my tub was being hidden. That way the next time they dug into our bathroom, it would be OUR PROBLEM. You even footed us with the bill for the waterline they chewed under there. Even though I SAW the water damage on the baseboards BEFORE it leaked. You were well aware of all of this. Terrible company. Terrible craftsmanship. Awful condescending Craig.

R&R Homes is a great company to work with and work for. They truly care about their customers. No - they are not perfect. They build a man-made product with human hands . They make mistakes but they are quick to figure out the problem, find a solution and fix the problem. They build a great home and allow buyers to customize and personalize their home even if the home as already commenced construction. I love the family atmosphere and how everyone who works there is passionate about what they do.
