Service was great. Very attentive and polite. Good with explaining the choices and giving advice on what to order and how much to order for a party of 6. We've had Ethiopian food before and this was just as delicious as anywhere we've tried. Prices were standard. If you haven't tried Ethiopian food before, just do it! I was skeptical like seriously, but when I finally did I was pleasantly surprised and honestly look for Ethiopian restaurant whenever I'm traveling!

Ohmygosh deliiiiiicious. If you want flavor on flavor on flavor - Queen of Sheba will not disappoint. When we got there they were out of injera, so they subbed it with rice. I love rice so this wasn't a problem at all but it would have loved to try the injera! We got the Queen of Sheba Messob and the sambusas. Sambusas was SO good. So good that we even got the vegetarian versions to go as well! But we loved the chicken one a bunch too. And the Messob platter - absolutely needs no words. Everything on that plate was 11/10. It cane with about three different meat and poultry stews - chicken, beef, and maybe (?) lamb? Should've asked what it was but all were so packed with so much spice and all things nice. Lentils and potatoes were delicious too. Hubby loved the green beans and carrots dish too! Said he could eat those carrots all day. Waitress was friendly as ever and service was relatively quick. Place is nice and clean and I loved that they had a quick history of the food and Ethiopia behind the menu. Definitely comes highly highly recommended!

The veggie combo for two looks quite good. We are both looking forward to this Ethiopian meal. We hope it yummy. Ordered Sambusa and veggie sambusa, vegetarian combo for two people, tomato salad, key seer salad, Ethiopian salad and Ethiopian spiced tea. Separate order of the chick peas and the red lentils. $89.92. Pricier than back at home, but still worth it. The spiced tea isn't bad, not as fragrant or flavorful as I would like though. The sambusa and veggie sambusa are both quite good. The dough is super light and flaky. It's pure yum. The minced meat and lentil inside are quite delicious and has a nice kick to it as well. The beet, potato and tomato salad are all quite yummy. Lots of good flavors and textures to these 3 salads. We are seeing why this place is so popular here in OKC. It's been around for 18 years. It's quite a gem here in OKC. The injera is good, super fluffy and tart. The red lentil and the chick peas are my two favorites. The greens and beans don't do a lot for me. The chick peas, red lentil and potatoes. The staff here all quite friendly. Mimi and maybe her son (?) are both quite friendly. Our waiter was nice enough, just very quiet. Subtotal is $77.44 with $12.48 in tax it's $89.92. The Tax1 and Tax2 on the bill just doesn't add up to the total, seems rather high, doesn't make sense to me. Mimi tried to explain it. The bill still doesn't make sense.

Oh my gods Oklahoma doesn't deserve this place. Like India Palace in Tulsa, this joint has no business existing in this state. I'm glad the folks who work here, cook here, own the joint here have chosen lives of service and remain. I can't speak toO much outside of the vegan/vegetarian sampler and I don't need to. Everything on the large injera centerpieces is delicious. Someday I hope to build up a good enough rapport that they will believe me when I ask for my fish to be made spicy. I feel attacked because my spouse is a pale person, a Seattle pale person even. And that's fair because if my spicy food even got close to her mild food and whispered at it, she'd probably find it incredibly spicy hot. Regardless of the spicy heat level, the spices are used liberally and expertly. All of the flavors are bold and balanced with no two dishes being really confused for the next. The service is always polite, the food is always delicious and it's never crazy loud in there- even when it's full. My only complaint is that they are open for bidness so very little. I want to eat here every time I'm in OKC or passing through, etc. but they are only open Thursday, Friday, & Saturday or something like that. I guess it makes resting here that much more rewarding. Bring all of your people here or meaty friends love it, pescatarians, weirdos and normies of ask kinds love this spot.

Had a fabulous time with friends here. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Very accommodating for food preferences (ie no onions). Very clean, beautifully decorated gem in Warr Acres. Best to do your homework and research on proper etiquette for eating Ethiopian food. You eat with your hands. You tear off a small piece of the tangy, spongy injera (pancake like flatbread) and squeeze a bit of food from a family style platter (if sharing with someone) and pop in your mouth. The stews (curries) are very delicious and flavorful. Highly recommend you get the sambusa (pastry filled with either minced chicken or lentils) for the appetizer. If it's your first time, get the Queen of Sheba Messob - gorgeous sampler plate of three meats and three vegetables and salad. We also had the lamb tibbs and beef tibbs (sautéed cubed meats with mouth watering herbs/spices and chilies. Very filling meal. The injera fills you up. Absolutely loved this place!
