The owners canvas auctions far and wide to find unusual pieces of furniture, and they don't last long! If you see something you like-you better grab it because it won't last long.I was looking for a roll top desk-that was repainted in a distressed white color. They found a desk and painted it for me. It is beautiful!!'I also found 3 Unopened Space Shuttle hallmark ornaments at Christmas and they were perfect gifts for my NASA-fan friends!The owners are also very good at changing out seasonal window displays and the inside inventory as well. The owners are also very talented at creating some unique pieces-you never know what treasures you will find at the Purple Penguin!!! Worth the drive to Bristow!!!!

Something retro. Something quirky. They have stuff you've forgotten about and you're constantly grabbing whoever you're in there with, saying Check this out. It's a fun little store that you could spend half a day in.
