Nice restaurant with friendly staff. Good selection on their menu. The restaurant recently had a remodel, according to family that lives in town, which looks great! The outside of the building is deceiving - this place is huge! Complimentary chips and salad were good, queso was great! My husband had a chicken fajita burrito that he said was good. Other orders at the table were fajitas and the Enfrijolada which were also good! Would definitely visit again when visiting town.

The skillet trio was excellent with so much food we have enough for lunch tomorrow. The lunch number 7, two steak street taco was also excellent. The service was fast and checked on us numerous times. The restaurant is very nice and decorated very nice.

Artisan Mexican GastronomyPlease turn to page 4 of the menu titled "Artesian Autenticos." See the Enmoladas with that dark mole. It was a meal I knew my wife would love. So, on the road we go. This restaurant covers everything Mexican food, but a mole of this caliber is not found in most small-town OkieMex joints. I haven't tasted anything like it in the fancy chain restaurants. The mole is a rich semisweet, thick sauce with chocolate, spices, maybe nutmeg, clove or cinnamon. A complex flavor sensation, served over three shredded chicken enchiladas. After wiping her plate clean with the last little bit of tortilla, my wife proclaimed the meal to be "scrumptious." I tasted of the mole. It was Wow! Artisan and decadent. Not for me though. The closest I get to eating chocolate on chicken is a chocolate covered Cadbury Easter egg. I had the Camarones a la Diabla. Shrimp covered in a rich spicy sauce hand crafted with the same quality and attention as the dark mole. Shrimp, onion slices and the bright red flavorful sauce. Guacamole and rice on the side. Very good. I'm coming back for the sopes though. Damn they look good. This restaurant building has under gone needed interior remodeling since we were last there in 2018. The previous mediocre Mexican joint operating here, has been exiled to the east end of town. Pueblo Viejo is still doing remodeling on one of their big dining areas. They have several large rooms. The service matches the quality of their food. Staff was cleaning when we walked in and still cleaning when we left. It is a very comfortable large restaurant. What a treat to find in Cushing Oklahoma. Well Done! But don't say Olé, say Mole!

Absolutely amazing food, very fresh and flavorful. I would highly recommend this establishment if you want good food for a good price. The servers are very nice and have patience. They always check up on you and treat you like family. The place is clean and tidy, clean walls, clean floor, and clean customer service. I 10/10 would recommend this place for anyone who wants to eat great food.

Wow just WOW. What a hidden gem. Can't remember what this place was before but it changed hands 3 years ago. And now it is amazing. The salsa was fresh and I had the hotter one and it had plenty of flavor and was fresh. I ordered the Carne Asada plate pictured attached. They brought me both flour and corn tortillas. The flour looked homemade and when I asked they brought those in but they are really good but the corn tortillas were made there and you could tell. The carne has good flavor and the shrimp was well prepared. All the sides were fresh. Wife had the smothered burrito and she really liked it. I saw several other traditional items on the menu I can't wait to try. I will be back.

Best most authentic Mexican food we've had in a long time. The food was delicious and the service was great. We had enchiladas, the chicken skillet, guacamole, queso, and finished it off with sopapillas. The chips and salsa were great starters too. We have tried one other restaurant in town and it was good, but it wasn't Pueblo Viejo. We will be back!

This was an absolute surprise hidden gem in Cushing, OK. We came from Houston and arrived an hour before they closed, but the staff were welcoming and tentative to our table. You immediately notice that the owner cares about this establishment to have handmade booths that are well made and sturdy, even the high chairs are hand-made and colorfully cute! We started off with the spicy sauce. It had good heat but was still able to taste our other food. I could have licked the white queso bowl clean. It was that good quality cheese that stretched with a smooth texture you don't get at a lot of places. The Birria tacos didn't leave our fingers oily, and the dip had very good flavors. The stuffed pork tamales with the thin Mesa were not dry, and topped the green, spicy, and queso sauce was the perfect pairing. The Chicken Skillet had amazing flavors, and the rice was fluffy soft. We were fully satisfied that we devoured all this food. We highly recommend this place.
