With good daycare/preschool options far and few between in SOKC, primrose rises to the top! My daughter has loved and flourished in every classroom she has been in. It's clean, the teachers are excellent and most of all, my little one loves going to school and is happy when I pick her up daily!!! My favorite part--THEY HAVE A SAFEROOM!!!

My daughter has been at Primrose since January of this year. I have been so happy with the care she has received. Primrose is organized, clean, and provides structure and routine for the little ones. My daughter has had several teachers come and go in her class, however, even with that- they have all been excellent.

My son attended SW Primrose from 16 months - 28 months and it's a parenting decision I truly regret. My son received mediocre care and often times spent his days in "time-out". Majority of the classroom teachers have no credentials let alone any formal childhood education training, If your child doesn't fit the mold of listening/sitting/performing tasks as directed this is NOT the school for you. There is constant transition from room-to-room, with a HIGH teacher turnover. Every few weeks, there was a new teacher in my sons room. And just when my son would get comfortable in his assigned classroom, he was moved up to make space for other children - even if he wasn't ready!Aside from the front counter staff, teacher moral is very low. This low moral is passed along to the children in the classroom. In one classroom my son's teacher expressed to me multiple times that she felt my two-year old had ADD/ADHD and would express frustration when he wouldn't listen and/or obey. I later discovered that my completely NORMAL son had a slight speech delay. Instead of working with the parents to have a parent-paid speech therapist come onsite, Primrose decided that my son wasn't a good fit for the school. While there is a curriculum calendar, please know that the teachers will send home artwork/activities that the teachers complete themselves. Perfectly cut circles; perfectly potted flowers; perfectly glued sticks. Be aware that the teachers have clear favorites; often the favorite children have parents that work at Primrose. So unless you plan on working at Primrose, I strongly recommend trusting another center for your child's development. In addition to the outrageous tuition, Primrose will definitely let you know when Teacher Appreciation week is. They will "push" down your throat "gift" ideas that you should bring to the teachers every day. Maybe if the owners spent more time getting teacher moral up themselves, they wouldn't have to rely on parents buying gifts to keep their staff.

The best around. I've got 2 children there and a 3rd on the way. Several large outdoor playgrounds. Lots of classrooms and they are all roomy. Children are with other children their age and learn age appropriate activities that include art, reading, etc.. Amazing director. The children learn and play. I had the hardest time going back to work after my first child but they gave me the peace of mind I needed knowing he was in wonderful hands.

Our daughter attended Primrose from 18 months old until 4.5 years old. Our son started here at 5 months old in March 2018. We encountered many wonderful teachers here. However, due to the high rate of turnover, I have lost count of how many teachers my daughter had over the course of 3 years. We were seldomly given any notice of teacher change. Teachers just stopped being there and then we were stuck attempting to console a heartbroken child as to why her beloved teacher would never be back. With our son, we had some concerns because he wasn't eating well at daycare. Clearly the administration does not like being questioned regarding your child. Things went downhill after this point and I was even told "I don't have time for you" by the director both in person and in an email. I also inquired about the pre-k and kindergarten program and received a reply so poorly written and grammatically incorrect that it was not even understandable. Education is not a priority here. The majority of the "teachers" are great babysitters but they have no training in teaching. In the end, we chose to leave because we could not leave our children at a daycare where the administration doesn't have time to address parental questions or concerns and values the dollar more than the best interest of a child. The higher cost of this center is clearly to pay for the "status" of attending Primrose, not for higher quality care and education.Since changing daycares, both children come home happy. They eat well and nap well while there. Our daughter has learned more in the past month at her new school than she did in her time at Primrose. We only wish we had made the switch much sooner.

Love this daycare!!! My daughter adores her teacher Mrs. Spicer, which makes it a little easier for me to drop her off in the morning. The entire staff really seems to genuinely care for the growth and development of their children. Even the teachers my girl doesn't have daily interaction with seem to go out of their way to say something nice about my little lady. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for child care go to Primrose on SW 119th.
