I only put one star because I couldn't go lower. We moved in and there was already things broke or dirty that we contacted to tell them about but they never took care of. There was construction 24/7, which wasn't their fault just a bad inconvenience. We had a roach infestation which we told them about that they never fixed but yet we got charged $200 for. Our friends and family who was there multiple times said there wasn't a smell or ever dirty, we both kept our place pretty clean for college guys. They screwed up our monthly payments because of 2 people with the same name in a building. Unprofessional, irresponsible, and no sense of urgency for people living there. Only reason we signed a lease was for the location but talking to my roommate, it wasn't worth it because of all the things that went wrong. Also, bills are included which was a big eye catcher we liked but even setting up the WiFi and getting cable boxes from suddenlink was a huge pain in which because they didn't explain well enough in the move in instructions resulted in no cable more than half the time and WiFi being down or just so slow it was unusable. With the money spent a month on rent bills and other items, I'd suggest living somewhere cheaper and just driving. So much better.

My brother has lived here for almost a year now and hates it. He has two pet birds which are temperature sensitive. He has had a broken AC for 9 months and has put in multiple work orders but the maintenance department won't fix it. They gave him a portable AC unit which barely works. He's put in other work orders for other issues as well, which have all either been not fixed, cancelled or the maintenance staff went to the wrong apartment to fix the issue. The management and maintenance staff are either clueless about how to run an apartment complex, are incompetent or just don't care. My brother has threatened legal action if his birds die due to extreme heat with no AC. The staff sort of twiddle their thumbs. Do not live here. Pay a little extra money and live somewhere worth living.Update: this is now a couple of weeks later, my brother finally got a new AC and not even a week later, it broke again. These people don't know how to run an apartment complex.

If I could give it zero stars I would... absolutely hated it there. Lived there for two years, dealt with the same bullshit from the shady ass management. They would charge you randomly. I even caught them in a lie with a random charge and they tried to play me but I had proof. I was my own maintenance person because I always had to wait until the next business day even in emergencies. They took away the guest parking... I could go on and on. I would not recommend you waste your money living here at all. Very disgusting acting group of people.

Did anyone get charged with extra fees and rents for the months that they did not lease for? Also gotten a email from the mangers saying that they will hand you over to the collection if you dont pay those fees?

I want anyone considering living or supporting a student living at Prime Place to stop and run the other direction. This is a company that will always be remembered for gouging students and their parents during an unprecedented time in our country. They have made no offer to help students and parents and demand all rents and leases be paid and in force through July 15th. What this means at the end of the day is a company that is GREEDY and UNCARING!!!!!

Don't live here! I live in the Hester Street building, you get woken up with construction at 6:30 every morning, the roads are so bad I'm afraid I'm going to mess my car up, there is no guest parking, and if you decide to come home after 10 PM you can forget about getting to park on your own floor because it won't happen. People let their friends come into the garage and park in resident parking because of the no guest situation. Overall if I could get out of my lease today I would. I hate it here. Save yourself some money

Where to even get started about this terrible Apartment Complex. Besides the managers that sit on their ass and do nothing all day long and the shady booting of cars at 11pm on a Friday night costing $100 to take off.Our actual apartment was horrible. We steam cleaned the floor several times and without a doubt our feet would be black and nasty every time. Our washer leaked every time it was used. The dishwasher would soap foam at the bottom and fil up our kitchen. Our window was broken and maintenance refused to replace it. My closet one day was fully hanging my entire wardrobe and collapsed for no reason other than it was old leaving me several hours of work cleaning up my clothes and re setting the closet back up. We were responsible for clogged sinks and yet the first day I had a clogged sink and tub and maintenance would not even fix that from the previous owners. On top of all that our wall looked like a 4 year old painted it, I wish I was kidding when I said this, every four inches was a paint blotch from a dry wall fill.Lastly, on move out date we had to pay the full $170 to have a special cleaning service clean our apartment and after I sent them the invoice paid they told me it was good. A week later I'm only being refunded 90% based upon the cleaning service terms because prime place took it upon themselves to CANCEL them and SCHEDULED their own. These people will take every dollar from you and make sure you feel like you're living out side.If you like being treated like a pile of shit, PRIME PLACE IS PERFECT for you!!! Seriously why not pay to own an apartment from the absolute WORST apartment complex ACROSS THE US.

I am not satisfied with the time I spent living at prime place (2 years). Management does not handle situations appropriately; they only care about making money. In both apartments I lived in at Prime Place I was consistently disappointed. In the most recent apartment, there was a serious roach problem when we moved in and it took months before it was under control. We did everything we could to keep the roaches away. My car was broken into in the parking garage of this complex, my roommate's package was stolen from the mailroom, and my other roommate was assaulted in the stairway. None of these incidents were on video, even though there are cameras in all three areas. DO NOT LIVE HERE. There is dog pee and poop everywhere and the apartments were poorly made. If you are in the apartment with the elevator, be prepared for the elevators not to work most of the time. The parking garage gates are rarely working and people who do not reside here constantly park in the parking garage, leaving no spots for tenants... especially late at night. I would not recommend this to anyone. It was fairly new and close to campus which is why I lived here... but it was not worth it. They will charge you any chance they get.

This is the first review I have ever written, but I felt compelled to let parents know about this property. Our son is a student at Oklahoma State University and lived at Prime Place this year. I also own many multi-family properties in Dallas and know the business well. Our son lived on the fourth floor and moved in last summer after there was a hostage situation in the building and the door from the parking garage to the units had to be pried open and was not able to shut. They never fixed the door, which I found unacceptable. It was supposed to be fixed, but never was. Your children's security is paramount and this is just one of many issues we found throughout the year. The management was completely unresponsive. Many things occurred during the year and none of it was addressed. The gate to the parking garage was always broken, dogs would defecate in the hallways, garbage everywhere, and, unbelievably, no elevator. As a longtime multi-family property owner, I would recommend choosing another complex for my student.

I've lived here for three years and unlike most of the people who do live here, I'm middle-aged with a professional career. If you live here, you can't hear through the walls, and beyond occasional noise from the apartment above, you can't hear anything at all outside what's in your home. This is what I would call upscale college housing - it's not perfect, nor is it priced to be. Stuff works, the guys who manage the place are responsive, and the occasional issue is handled. In three years, I've never lodged a complaint against a neighbor and have never had one lodged against me. The only obnoxious thing in all that time to happen was a couple guys detonating a fire-extinguisher in the halls, and "wanted" posters were all over the place the day after it happened. In my experience, it's not a party place - most of the people who live here seem to be foreign students and American students whose parents don't want them living in a party-house - this is fine by me, but your mileage may vary. It's a nice place to live in a wonderful location.
