I really really enjoy living here, I am going on my second year and I have to say by far this is one of the best apartments I've lived at in Oklahoma city.Maintenance is always on top of their game, I never have to wait long to get anything fixed.The staff in the office is mostly friendly but, they seem a little short staffed especially on the weekend there is normally only one person working, you will normally never be able to call the office on Saturday because they will never ever answer the phone. The apartment itself is really nice they have alot of different floor plans to choose from, I have serched high and low for a complex I've liked that had a washer and dryer connection without a fireplace in the livingroom, and it's hard to find for the most part, but you can pretty much find anything you are looking for here.The only downside of living here is that this is a three story complex and, if you live in the bottom or middle you can sometimes here the person above you. Also if you live on the bottom floor it will cost you slightly more to live on the bottom per month.This apartment is pet friendly and, I love that part of it, it's nice to see everyone walking there pet or taking them to the pet park, however residents here seem to not pick up after there pets, especially in the field behind me where I live in the complex. I understand this is not the Apartments fault and, everyone should be responsible If having pets to pick up after them but, there needs to be a more strict policy on picking up after your pets here. Other then that, I really have no complaints, I love my floor plan and enjoy living here very much!

This place has been a bad experience from the start. The apartment was not cleaned thoroughly prior to me moving in. There was food on the walls, dirt on the baseboards, and so much dirt behind the wall switches and outlets that you could see it without removing it. The walls were "spot painted" and you could see the different hues and sheens all over the place. It was far less quality than the model with stained countertops and sinks. They don't provide sufficient security. The gates rarely work and they give a generic code out to everyone so there is no way to track who is coming into the complex. Additionally, they failed to keep copies of the apartments keys secure which led to them being stolen. I was locked out of my apartment at 9:30 pm in which I had to walk around on a wild goose hunt trying to find someone to let me in after they changed the locks. I had to make two phone calls and wait almost 45 minutes in the cold with my daughter to get a new key. My final complaint is that they are completely unwilling to work with you on any kind of extension without filing for an eviction. I am two weeks away from graduating and took another job. My previous job let me go early and I had not anticipated that would happen. They do not care. They would rather evict a single mother who is working hard to provide a better life.

I told my wife that it was only going to be twelve months... 2.5(ish) years later, we've finally moved out. And in all honesty, I'll kind of miss Prairie Springs (PS)...[] Summary [] The price we were paying monthly was pretty good when considering the neighborhood, floor plan, etc. PS does good business, and runs a relatively tight ship. If the electricity bill situation was better, this would have been a relatively perfect 2.5(ish) years. A few things (i.e. utilities, some thoughtless neighbors) keep it from perfection. Regardless, I would recommend this place if you're currently looking for a new home.[] Front Office [] Call 405.722.2727 for the PS office. The number listed online (405.293.5330) is for Case & Associates (I think). A response from that second number is highly unlikely; I almost wrote off PS in frustration because no one was returning my calls. PS office personnel are mostly helpful. They're detailed in documentation, and clear about what's expected from the lessee/lessor. I have nothing negative to say about any of the ladies I've interacted with thus far. Actually on second thought, I would describe some of the women in the office as "cold" or "aloof" at times. Never rude. Just not... friendly. But they frequently have delicious cookies in the office, so that makes up for it.[] Complex & Unit [] It's a gated complex, with apparently 40+ buildings, with 24(ish) units (of varying floor models/sizes) per building. There are two phases. P1 is older but looks the same (at least from the outside). There are fitness centers and swimming pools for both P1 & P2, although P2's fitness center is somewhat (significantly) lacking. The units are traditional (but not dated) with warm colors. The bedrooms/bathrooms are relatively large. They have a laundromat on-site (which we haven't used), and a laundry space if you're bringing your own washer/dryer. Also, the kitchen is nice (huge walk-in pantry) and includes an oven, fridge, dishwasher, and a (large) microwave.[] Utilities [] The electricity bills were shockingly (pun intended) high. This is taking into account that we were more careful about our carbon footprint than the average resident. We did everything in our power to make our unit energy-efficient, and we kept our thermostat high in the summer and low in the winter. Despite all of our efforts, our OG&E bills were high. What we were paying was almost the same as what my parents are paying for their moderately energy-efficient (and thrice as large) house. The weather stripping on the doors/windows had gaps and maintenance helped us on that end to some degree, although I still felt warm/cold drafts coming through the closed windows. Water/trash/sewage rates seemed reasonable, but the dumpsters are few and far between. I frequently took trash-bags in my car, because walking to the dumpster was a challenge at times.[] Parking [] Uncovered parking spaces are first-come, first-serve. Spaces are plenty depending on the unit/building location. We didn't have issues, but a friend of ours who lived in another building said that parking was always a challenge for him. Covered parking = $30/month and Garages = $80/month. Or those were the prices when we moved in; they have likely changed... [] Maintenance [] Timely maintenance response within 24-48 (sometimes within a couple) hours of an maintenance request, even on things that I noted as being non-urgent.[] Pets [] Allowed. I believe there's an additional fee. Watch out for the neighbors who don't pick up after their dogs though... Hey poop-leavers: You're jerks...[] Complaints / Concerns [] The only issues would be some of the other residents. Having decent credit (or rental history) doesn't guarantee that you're a decent person. I'm not saying the residents aren't decent people. But when there are several hundred rental units, probability alone would suggest that at least a few of those renters are likely to be discourteous. Some of our neighbors were/are inconsiderate car-parkers (taking up two prime parking lanes on purpose). One slovenly neighbor left cat-litter & torn trash-bags by her front door for weeks at a time. Most everyone drives really fast in the parking lot, which is stupidly dangerous when you're nearing a tight corner that's partially obstructed by a building. I've had near-accidents more times than I could count. And don't get me started on the gross people who obviously don't live at PS, but use the swimming pool all the time... Yet some of our neighbors were also incredibly kind, so really what I'm saying is, the residents appear to be human beings on both ends of the spectrum.[] Random [] The first question I asked the PS office staff was, "Do you offer an employer discount?" In the case of my employer, there was a discount. Working for other large employers in the city may net you some kind of discount as well, so check on that.

if your looking for an apartment that is gated, modern, quiet, and onsite evening patrol look no further. The Prairie Springs Apartment in the west side of the city. I have been here almost three years and I have no such complaint of the management staff nor the maintenance staff. Everything is online in terms of online rent payment and maintenance request is online as well. Visit there website and check out the amenities they have to offer and different floor plans. Garbage is pickup everyday, mail room to receive your package if one is not home.I am a Software Engineer that works all over the country and I would say this is one the best in the midwest.

I just moved in a month ago but so far, this has been a great apartment experience! The ladies in the office have been extremely helpful each time I go in. I love the coziness of my apartment. I'm on the ground floor and rarely hear my upstairs neighbors. My pups have been just as happy here and I am looking forward to taking them to the dog park once the weather gets warmer!

I love this place and the neighbors. people who live here are mostly respectful and nice. Also the maintenance people are efficient and nice. The one and only problem is the management part, I have been personally dealing with some repairs for my apartment lately. The staff whose name Emma is just sooooooo difficult to talk to!!!!! She was very rude to me the whole time. I didn't understand it why she had to behave like that but every single time I interacted with her, it gave me a super bad mood and vibe from her. It is supposed to be a simple conversation but she put me on hold and went back to listen to the whole recording from the last conversation over the phone that happened a week ago and intended to prove me wrong. The question is I wanted to fix my fridge but she couldn't provide a solution. She acted like she was the expert when it comes to the fridge. Why do you spend the whole time pointing fingers at others when you are not even sure what's going on?! Super annoying interaction.

update to my last review!! they have gotten rid of a lot of workers that were toxic to their workplace, since this change i have not had problems with them & they have been super accommodating fixing the mess the last people left for them!

They do not take of their residents. i called several times to talk to them about my apartments. My apartments screwed me over badly by charging over 600 to my account because i moved out in June and my lease was up on July 31st. Rent had been paid in full 3 months in advance. I moved out in June and turned my electricity off at the apartment. I put my thirty days in July 3rd and my keys were brought in a week later, they decided they wanted to go ahead and charge me 500 for having my electricity turned off even though i was completely out of the apartment. 500 wasn't just the only thing they charged me on. This is how they treat good tenants. The prairie springs complex had gun shots going on, no parking ever, never fixed anything, music blaring for hours on end, people from the complex next to ours were causing problems left and right, so i decided to move out a month early and i ensured all bills were paid prior to moving out. they are literally the worst company ever, they screw their tenants over. From what i've heard they have done this for several people. I do know of another person who left right before their lease was up and they charged them for a ton of stuff as well. They are money hungry they dont care at all about their tenants.

I have been here at Prairie Springs for almost 2 years and to be honest this has been the very best experience I have had. Apartments are very spacious and love the idea of the attached garage... OMG .... not to mention garden tubs ... YEA !!! My work orders have been done on time the office staff is very professional, everyone has been wonderful. I love the idea you can pay online, do work orders online, etc... Great experience!!!

Great management and great location! The maintenance staff have been wonderful too. They perform regular check ups on air filters & fire alarms and have been very helpful with emergency issues as well.
