Potrillos Mexican Restaurant

This restaurant seems to be a popular spot in town! Although they were very busy, I was able to get a table immediately. I ordered a tamale to start. It was different than any other tamale I have had. It was served with queso and shredded cheese on top, the tamale itself was good, but I'd prefer it without the toppings next time. For my main dish, I got the whole fried fish, it was fried to perfection. The skin was crispy and delicious. The fish was tender and flavorful. The rice and beans were great and the salad that came with the fish was fresh and delicious! I do wish the server would've checked on me sooner after getting my food, but I was able to flag him down and get what I needed to accompany my meal. All in all I had a great dinner here and I wouldn't hesitate to come back if in the area again!

Well we stopped because they have a high rating but I'm not sure why ??? Really should have turned around once I saw the smooshed rat in the parking lot because it was hard for my brain to recover from that. The waiting area was dirty and really should have been my second sign to leave. The bright spot was the waiter. He was friendly and helpful. The salsa and chips were ok but unfortunately the food lacked flavor and neither of us finished our meal. The building needs a good cleaning especially the ladies bathroom. It was dirty and I really didn't want to touch anything in there. **I understand that there are rodents out and about but as a good place of business someone should remove that from the walkway!

When, ordering from a place when. outta town. This place isnt't It! Nope!!! They tried, but didn't succeed. Just saying! Cold/spicy queso???? Makes no sense! Almost inedible! When they mess up simple chicken enchiladas. Garbage Mexican food! I would highly reconsider a better establishment. NO BUENNO!

We had gone to eat at another place here but they were closed, so we stopped in here and we are glad we did! The service was good. Waiters friendly and attentive without going overboard. Chips and sauce on as soon as they took our drink order. I ordered 3 tacos with rice and beans. Pork, carne asada and chicken. It's hard to say which was best. The tortilla was a tiny bit oily, but the flavor was so good, who cares! My husband got chicken enchiladas with cheese sauce. He loved it. They were generous with rice (not mushy at all, but perfectly cooked!) and beans. So good. We certainly would go back and I'm sure if I lived here it would be a favorite of ours

I had high hopes for this establishment since it was recommended by a family friend. Unfortunately we stood waiting for almost 6 minutes waiting for a host to seat us. It was 2pm on a Sunday and not busy. We were seated promptly there after and waited approximately 5 minutes for a glass of water. No chips and salsa were provided, This happens in any restaurant on occasion. Maybe we caught the staff at an awkward time, I will be coming back again later next month for a business lunch meeting.

The food is great but there was a little girl throwing up on the trash can and they didn't make them leave until me and my family left because we complained.

Ardmore is definitely not a very big town, so if you're looking for good Mexican food this is your place. The service was quick, the drinks were good and the food was literally sizzling when it hit our table. They had some of the best guacamole I've ever tasted in a restaurant, highly recommend.

This place was actually pretty good. I had the torta cubana and some tacos. The food had flavor and everything was hot like out of the oven/grill hot. The green sauce had a kick to it however the red sauce did not but it was alright. The beer the way our waiter dressed it was actually good. I don't really like my beer too dressed but he did it good. All in all the food was good and the service was on top .

Great job to the staff and cooks here in visiting from California Mexican food is very good out there and much different from here its a hit and miss to find a great spot flavors are fantastic thanks to the staff

If ur looking for Authentic Mexican food this wouldn't be my first choice . We had to send back our meat because we couldn't even figure out wat flavor it had. The Agua frescas are too sweet and taste like the ones at a gas station or something . Disappointed
