Post Oak

I have enjoyed living at Post Oak for a year now. The complex is extremely pet friendly, convenient waste disposals for use during walks, the grounds are well maintained and makes walks enjoyable.I have very nice stainless steel appliances, the one maintaince issue, a blown fuse, was addressed within less than an hour of calling emergency number. And the maintance guys checked entire box and updated all the fuses for me.The office staff is extremely pleasant everytime I stop in, usually for a package during an afternoon walk. But they always ask how things are in my apartment. I love the convenience of paying rent online and online forms for maintance. Extremely, helpful with my work schedule.

The new property manager is amazing, Mandie answered all my questions and even gave me extra tips and advice! She definitely cares about the property, her employees, and the tenants!

EDIT: the staff was all down with covid. They did finally respond after 4 days, and have fixed the A/C.My son just moved in, and the AC has not worked at all, now going on 4 days! The heat is unbearable.

The office was very discouraging. They provided no help and no information on how to handle problems for residents.

The manager is unprofessional and does not follow through, return phone calls, texts or emails. The leasing staff were deceptive and did not disclose all of the property issues including with the plumbing and water being constantly shut off in all of the buildings. The maintenance are extremely slow to do work orders if at all and do not show up when they say they will. It takes many calls and eventually a face to face meeting at the office despite them having maintenance messaging on their app. One of the maintenance tried to enter several times unannounced. He had the wrong apartment and was hired as a temp to help get the apartment behind me ready for a new tenant. I finally told him if he did it again, I would be forced to protect myself and consider it breaking an entry so if he gets hurt, that would be his own fault. There are animals living in the walls and under my bathroom sink cabinet. I've caught 2 mice so far. The cabinet had water damage and collapsed leaving a huge hole in the bottom and the animals are coming through there. I'm unable to store anything in the cabinet. A leak from the apartment above caused water damage in the linen cabinet and a lot of my belongings were ruined. I requested to be reimbursed but never was. The trash service is a joke. They rarely pick up trash. Yet tenants are forced to pay for it. The breezeways and property are dirty and never maintained. The pools are filthy and never cleaned. Tenants are unable to use the pools. There are no lights in the parking lot and it's not safe. I have addressed this with the manager but was dismissed like every other time I have gone to him.Upon moving in, I stocked my refrigerator and freezer and the next morning, everything was ruined. It took 2 weeks for them to replace the refrigerator! I was told to use the refrigerator in an empty apartment which was unacceptable. Also the apartment was locked so I wouldn't be able to use it anyway. I've had packages & deliveries stolen from my front door. My mailbox was broken into and a credit card was stolen and used! There are no lights or cameras around the mailboxes leaving it an easy target for thieves. The maintenance painted the ceiling above my bed around a ceiling fan and got paint all over my brand new clothing that was on the bed. He also got it on the new carpet.The bathtub/shower is painted so every time I take a bath, the paint peels off and fills the tub. Overall, I'm not happy here and regret moving to Post Oak which is sad because this complex has a lot of potential to be nice. The 2 best features are the screened in patio with large closet and each unit includes a washer & dryer.

Do not move here. I have been without working AC for 16 days.Do not move here. The upgraded apartments are not upgrades. The new paint looks good, but the infrastructure is horrible. Believe me. Do not move here. No offense to maintenance, but the corporate office needs to hire specialists to make the technical repairs on property. I agree with the other reviewers. This place is an absolute nightmare.

They're guidelines and lease policies are the best chances of being approved. They have excellent management, shout out to Mandie, and the property itself is clean and comfortable. I have never had any issues that wasn't handled or responded to quickly and kindly.

Horrible company. Fired all of it's AMAZING staff right before Christmas, and then gave all of them eviction notices. Probably making people homeless. The "renovated" apartments are done so poorly. I can't mop my floors without glue seeping up. There has been MOLD in some units for MONTHS. You would expect to pay the same rent as your neighbor seeing as you both live in "renovated" 2bed models, but NOPE. One of us pays over 200$ more. The higher management needs to be replaced. I hope your reports look good for all of the good people you fired.

They have a very slow time on responding to people and they don't inform everyone about what's happening. They never told me about the change in electricity and caused ut to go out and made no effort of help

This apartment complex changes staff and ownership every year. I have been living here for almost 4 years and ever year there are new staff in the office and a new set of problems that just seem to get worse. I just received a text that I have storage boxes on my patio that are in violation of my lease however the lease does not mention storage boxes and the boxes are organized in such a way that we can still sit on the patio. The lease does not say that the only items to be on the patio are furniture. They also withdrew $145 from my account in addition to the rent but no one at the office could explain why the $145 charge was deducted. I was told that someone would call me back on Monday but after 2 days, I have not only received a call from the leasing office explaining the charge, but, they send a text today telling me I have less than a week to move the storage boxes from the patio. DO NOT MOVE HERE! The management changes every year and they are incompetent, unprofessional, and I am sure up to illegal practices when dealing with residents. Fortunately, they did not realize that they were dealing with an intelligent woman who has had experience renting property
