Polo's Mexican Restaurant

Love this restaurant I have been going to polos since I was a little girl always good food and good service love the family always so pleasant and friendly to everyone highly recommend !

Coming from Southern Cali, I didn't know what to expect, especially in Ada, Oklahoma. The food was good, and at good value. I won't lie, I was pretty hungover, but the food and drink got me ready for rest of my day. Minus 1-point because the bathroom was gross. Could have been the person before me, but it was not clean at all.

While our group enjoyed friendly/quick dinner service, the food left us feeling underwhelmed at Polo's Mexican Restaurant. The hot sauce tasted more like generic marinara sauce and the main dishes lacked flavor and seasoning. We felt disappointed because it didn't meet expectations from how it was in the past. According to the older members of our group, "it used to be one of the best Mexican restaurants in town."

By far the best Mexican food in Ada, period. Don't go anywhere else. Whoever gave them less than 4 stars don't know what they're talking about.

Horrible service , had to ask multiple times to get certain things like the spicy hot sauce or even butter. It took us over an hour to get our food, and when I asked for a refill on my sweet tea was given unsweetened tea. I agree with most people that the regular salsa taste like red pasta sauce instead of salsa. On the menu the cheese sauce says served with meat but doesn't come with meat in it.

I don't really eat here this place has been up and down good and bad from what I hear I only ate here four times in my life and so far it's good enough to stay afloat

Wasn't blown away by the food or the service. Choose one of the other Mexican spots in town. This one was kinda gross ngl

We specifically requested hot sauce with our to go order and received none. That happened twice in a row. The to go order before that we received no chips. The beans and rice are not full. The food is not hot.We will not be ordering for awhile. We are disappointed.

Good people and good food. Beer is cold. Atmosphere is nice too. Quest is good and warm and tasty

I'm so disappointed in Polo's. We used to eat here often but everything has changed. We ate here last week (Feb, 2023) and could not believe how absolutely awful our food was. We asked for fresh tortillas for our appetizer and we got stale, rubbery, bitter-tasting corn tortillas that broke apart when we tried to roll them up. Our entrees were worse, since Polo's used the same awful corn tortillas for my enchiladas. The enchilada wouldn't stay rolled up and broke apart when I tried to cut into it. My husband's meal was essentially inedible also. We tried a few bites and then called it quits. The salsa tasted like ketchup combined with a weak tomato sauce out of a can. I asked for a to-go box, just to be polite (why???). We walked out the door and tossed everything in the trash as we left. I wonder if Polo himself, ever checks the sub-par food that he sends out to his customers. It was a good run while it lasted but I think it's time to take down his shingle and close this business.
