Pollard had an affair with my (late) mom's neighbor for decades. My mom requested to be buried with his funeral home.When she passed, I honored her wishes.I was 29 years old, and I hadn't ever planned a funeral.When he found out that my mom had life insurance, he milked me for every dime that he could get out of me and persuaded me to purchase many unnecessary things.My mom was mixed and very fair-skinned. When I went to view her body, she was dark as night and had blisters all over her body.An HVAC tech informed me that he worked on his air at the funeral home while my mom's body was there. And that many of the bodies had started decaying.During the viewing of the body, I put two teddy bears that my kids gave her before she passed in her casket; along with a Mother's day plaque that she gave me before she passed. And, I had her dressed in jewelry.Before the service and the day of the service, I advised him and his staff to remove all of her jewelry, the teddy bears, and the plaque that she gave me.After the burial, I asked him for those things. He removed everything but the plaque. I started sobbing and told him that I needed that. He yelled at me and said it was going to cost me." I asked how much. He informed me $5,000.00. He ruined my mom's body and scarred me for life.He's a dishonest, money-hungry, tacky person. And so is his funeral home.My friend buried his loved one, and he was milked out of most of his life insurance, also.
