Polar Donuts

Oklahoma City, OklahomaIf you come to this donut shop, you will have two smiles. The first comes when you enter the store and the energetic, friendly staff acknowledges you by offering you a glazed donut for free. The second smile comes when you bite into the donut and see how delicious it is. I am from out of town and stopped at this location because it was relatively close to my hotel. The staff was so nice when I was there. I think there were five people working and they all spoke to me. I only ordered four donuts but they put them in the box and that was a surprise. So many places will shove your donut on top of another inside of a bag. Not here. They give you a box as you should get when you get donuts. The donuts are thick and soft. I got chocolate glaze and maple glaze. The maple glaze was the perfect flavor consistency. And it tasted real as opposed to just sugar. I have not yet tried my chocolate, but I am certain it should be just as delicious. When I was leaving the donut shop I heard the guy who must have been in charge say to his staff that they needed to sweep the floor because there were some leaves that had blown in. that's impressive. If he keeps his lobby clean, you know he keeps his kitchen clean. I will definitely go back.

This place is decent. The donut was fresh and fluffy. As my daughter and I entered, we were greeted immediately by the owner and staff and offered a free donut. That said, the place was lackluster inside, it definitely needs a revamp and a clean up of the overall inside.

I was greeted immediately when I walked even thoughshe was helping someone else. While the other customer was making up his mind she handed me a free donut. The free donut was good and I was wondering why it was so yellow. I have never been giving donuts in a to go box but I understand it once I thought about it. The three donuts that I ordered came out to $6.33 and I was shocked but I did not complain I just paid for them. She did ask me if I wanted a beverage with my donuts I declined. They were some good donuts but the price whew.

The ladies out front were great! The doughnuts were hot and fresh. If you are close stop in and try them out.

This place is great. I randomly wanted to go to a donut shop, and I'm glad this one was suggested. I was caught off guard when they offered a free donut when I walked in. But after reading reviews, that must be a thing here. Customer service was great. The lady working was absolutely lovely. One thing that stood out was when a little girl came in and she was offered a donut. Well the little girl asked if she could have 2, and I just thought it was very nice that the lady didn't even question her. Just gave her 2 donuts. It's nice to see that there are still genuine nice people that exist in this world. Because I know it's a tough time for everybody right now. Will be back

We were warmly greeted and immediately offered a delicious donut. The peach and apple fritters are amazing!!

Small store with big flavor!You won't find 30 different flavors, but you will enjoy the taste & texture. Without a doubt, the best smelling and tasting maple donut I've ever had! Dough is not your traditional white - it is more of a yellow color (I'm not sure why...maybe a potato bread recipe?) but the texture is amazing. Very friendly staff.

First time here with my daughter. The donuts are second to none. The best thing about this place is the staff and owner! They are very nice and great people! Aaannnddd you get a free glazed donut when you walk in! I mean cmon that's super awesome. 5 stars all around. This will be my donut place from now on.

First time going and found it to be a little pricey..ordered 12 donuts and the cost was 38.00.Very sugary but that's just my opinion.I am sure others will like them...
