I communicated with Plumb Genius on July 3rd regarding an invoice made in late June 2019. The overall invoice was $790.00. The total parts were under $100. $400 of Labor is understood but not $700. Discussions with other plumbing services have mentioned that the same level of work would cost much less than $790. The shower arm reset was just two clips to secure the showerhead. PPV320 the sheetrock was already cut there. There was no need for a charge. PPV320 Homeserve gain access to internal plumbing ( SHEETROCK ONLY ) for $45. On July 5th (2 days later) I received a reply "I have received your concern regarding invoice number *****. I see you are unhappy with the agreed-upon price to reset your shower arm. I can forward your concern to the business owner for his review of the charges. He will be out of town until Tuesday, July 9th. I will get back to you once he has reviewed everything. I received no response so I emailed again. On July 22, 2019, I responded again with "Hi, I would like to follow up on the review of invoice number 73889. Previously I mentioned that the overall invoice was $790.00. The total parts were under $100. $400 of Labor is understood but not $700. Discussions with other plumbing services have mentioned that the same level of work would cost much less than $790. The shower arm reset was just two clips to secure the shower head. PPV320 the sheetrock was already cut there. The invoice mentioned a home serve gain access to internal plumbing for $45.00.There was no need for a charge. Also, I would like to add that I felt discriminated against when the technician (Jerred Tipton) that day asked for my driver's license number when I gave him a check for the day. I have a feeling that getting driver's license numbers when customers write checks is not the standard. Once again I didn't receive a response. I sent another email on September 16, 2019, with "Hi. I never got an explanation about the invoice. I'm still confused about the $45.00 home serve gain on the billing and other inquiries."Watch out for Jerred Tipton (Plumb Genius plumber in Edmond). He is a racist man. He used a slur when he came out for the estimate in early June 2019 and then a few weeks later in late June 2019 to try to get the task done. He also used the middle finger as he came through my door. Plus Traci H. and Sharon L. are not genuine reviews on here. Andrea K. sounds generic and not real too. Plumb Genius doesn't come on the same day. You always have to schedule an appointment for them to come out and assess it. There is a service fee of $60 (just to look over and make notes of the problem). Then the homeowner has to schedule another appointment to have them come out and fix it. I had been dealing with Plumb Genius since 2016 and this is how they did me. For me, on June 6, they assess it then on June 27 to do something about it. On June 6, Jerred Tipton (plumber for Plumb Genius) placed on the invoice that it would cost $2100.00 to repair, which does not include WSL to Meter. I had another plumber come by and he charged me $365 to fix the same problem. I contacted Plumb Genius (before June 27) not to send any plumbers over before the appointment on June 27 because the problem was already fixed. Jerred Tipton and other plumbers (for Plumb Genius) came by anyway. I was informed that they were supposed to call before they arrived but never got that call from any of them that day. I looked around the house for minimal issues with the bathroom, so they wouldn't come out for nothing because I felt sorry for them. So I asked to fix the shower knob in the guest bathroom and tighten up the shower head in the master bathroom (and that was it). They still overcharged it for $790.00. So that summer was too much overpricing and discrimination that I have other plumbers (that are not Plumb Genius) to come over from now on.The reason for the late input on Yelp is that their management ignored my contact attempts. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau years ago and they lied to protect themselves. Also whenever I hear that name (Plumb Genius), I just want to advise others to not go to them. They are horrible plumbers and will not follow up on the issue you report with their plumbers. This is a completely honest review and they are a bad business. Please seek elsewhere for your plumbing needs.

Not trustworthy at all. Over priced. I've been told for three weeks they'd call me back over an issue of them charging me $375 to run their camera. They never even turned it all. Got it stuck for a hour and a half. Got it unstuck and told me " welp the camera got stuck you must have a break in the line. Again never turned the camera on. I called to talk about a refund. I spoke to two different ladies. I haven't heard back from either of them.

After PLUMB GENIUS didn't show for our 10-2 appt, with no call or text, I asked my boyfriend to call to find out what was going on. (I was in an all day training and couldn't make the callMyself.) They apparently told him a tech didn't show up AND their Internet was down. Apparently they don't have a backup system to alert customers in these situations. Due to still needing the plumber, it was rescheduled for 1-5 today. We were able to get in touch with RotoRooter who actually answered their phones, and could come out the same day. So I called Plumb Genius SEVERAL times to cancel the work order. However, they didn't answer their phone, and their voicemail was full.I just got a text letting me know the plumber was on the way. Shoot! Totally forgot! So I called and said we'd had the appt for yesterday, but had to call Roto-Rooter, paying 3x our warranty fee, and to cancel the appointment. Holy cow! This woman flipped out!She said "if it was an emergency why didn't you let us come out on Tuesday?" Because we work. You know, to make money to pay the plumber. She said it must not have been an emergency at all. It wasn't an emergency on Tuesday, but had escalated to the point we couldn't shower or flush. To me, that's an emergency.That she doesn't understand that plumbing issues can go from merely annoying to emergency status is concerning. Perhaps she just started working there.THEN she called me back to swear at me! And point out that someone had rescheduled yesterday for today (yes bc we didn't know our options at the time and wanted an appointment on the books--not that appointments really seem to matter with Plumb genius. I told her since it was an emergency, we called RotoRooter, who answered their phones and were able to schedule the service. She continued to berate me and when I asked for her supervisor she claimed she wasn't there, that she would talk to me in the same manner, and refused to give me her supervisors name or number of course. Charming experience. I'll be sure to let my warranty company know of their "service".

I have an older home and have had to use several different plumbing services and Plumb Genius is by far the worst I have ever dealt with. They scheduled a full day starting at 8am to replace my sewer line and showed up 2 hours late then rushed the job and destroyed my property with absolutely no regard. They split the concrete pad in my yard in half even though it was not in the way of the job and just gave me a simple "sorry". They are very vague on communicating pricing and just try to get you to swipe your credit card prior to the job then have zero regard for how they finish it. I have seen many messy sewer line repairs but the guys were in a hurry to go home after showing up 2 hours late so they didnt even refill the trench they dug, they just pushed all the dirt up next to it. I would advise to steer clear of this plumbing service. I had a terrible experience.

NO TRUST FOR THIS COMPANY!!We have a home warranty. This company was assigned our file. Horrible experience. First apt 10/20Said they'd be back on the 21st. That didn't happen. Second apt 10/23Home warranty denied claim, which happens they then quoted $650 to fix shut-off and the leak. We asked to review and would get back to them. Third apt 10/26 Called said the tech was ill so they didn't make ot. Fourth apt 10/27 same leak, same problem was quoted $1000 to fix leak and a seperate $700 to fix shut-off valve. We called their main office and was told they would resolve why such a different quote several times and they they would let us know. The plumber left while we did this. They never called us back and closed the case. Still haven't heard back. This delay on appts and the run around caused a larger water damage issue. Could not recommend them less!!!

Worst plumbing experience ever. This company lies and does not do what they say they will do.They are extremely dishonest been trying to get a simple water leak in our front bathroom fixed for 30 days. Have had three technicians to my house.Supposedly the first technician misdiagnosed the repair but I was told this after I had waited ten days for the parts he supposedly ordered to arrive.When they did not show up to repair it, I was told that the technician had quit and was not with them any longer. So they sent a second technician out who said the first guy misdiagnosed the problem. And that it didn't need parts ordered but that he didn't have the right tools to fix it. So after waiting another week. I call and I speak to the GM Tony .He tells me that he's sorry, that it should have been a simple 30 min repair and apologizes for the delay and runaround and promises to send Helios best technician Chris out to do the repair. He shows up 2 hours late on Thursday. Leaves the repair halfway finished and says he needs a different tool and that he will be back later Thursday. He no showed and by Friday afternoon at three o'clock I called Plumb genius again. I was told that Chris was out sick but that Tony would call me back. Never heard from Tony. So I called him this morning (Monday) was told he's not in the office but that they now needed to order the parts that the very first technician had said were needed for the repair. But amazingly they could not tell me when they were going to be out to do the repair. Because they did not have a time frame on the parts coming in. These are the same parts I was told were ordered by first technician that supposedly quit. As I said starting this. They are deceptive, and dishonest and provide horrible customer service.

Absolutely awful. They rescheduled our appointment multiple times with minimal notice. When they did show up, they were late. After examining the issue, they said they would be back the next day for repairs. They never showed up. When I called to inquire, they said they would reschedule (again) for the following week. if you value your time, use a different plumber.

Customer beware!!! Our home warranty sent these guys out to our home and Cecil with Genus plumbing came to our home. Due to we had a pipe bust and leak all in our closet and garage. This guy Ceil looked at our issue and told me he was going to have to bust out our floor and wall because it was a slab leak and it had been leaking for a long time which is also what he told our warranty and so obviously they wouldn't cover it due to his verbiage. I told Cecil and my husband told Ceil this leak just happened it hasn't been leaking for a long time because we are constantly in our garage and watching our hot water tank due to it busting last year(We would have also noticed it on our water bill which we called our water utilities and they showed now leaks in the past but do show now because we have an AMR meter and they can read this right from their system). He didn't believe us and told us that's his story and he isn't changing it! $3600 to him and nothing else! We called to speak to a manager to find a resolution and they had Cecil who is not a manager call my husband and tell my husband he isn't changing his mind! We called our home warranty got a second opinion new plumbers came out said it was something they could fix wouldn't have to bust out the floor it's not a slab leak and it hasn't been leaking for a long time because they would be able to tell and we would too due to where it was! They fixed it for us with no problems and warranty covered it! We are so beyond grateful we went with our gut and the opinions of outside contractors we went to church with and our nephew who builds homes and they all said these guys are crooks! Even the new plumbers said to us let me guess they wanted to charge you $3600 we said yep. Anyways stay away from them they don't fight for you at all and don't care! Get a different plumber assigned to you and save yourself being scammed and a huge headache. I cried and cried the day this man came to my home and told me I would have to come up with $3600! Don't trust them!

We had some issues with our plumbing; the toilets weren't flushing properly and we had backup into the bathtub. We called our home warranty company and they assigned us to a company. This company never called us back!I called our home warranty company again and asked if they could reassign us to another company, which they did! Plumb Genius texted us and said they would be available between 2-6. Then they called and said it would be 2:00! We received another text saying they would arrive at 1:40! Sure enough, Josh arrived at exactly 1:40!Josh was able to clear the blockage in under an hour! He answered any questions we had. He did a great job! By the way, this happened on Super Bowl Sunday! Very thankful for Plumb Genius!
