Pinkitzel

I was visiting and needed cupcakes and I stumbled across Pinkitzel. It has mixed reviews but I still wanted to try. It was great! The cupcakes were tasty and normal priced compared to places I usually buy from. I would definitely stop by again when I visit.

My fiancé and I went here on a whim on a Monday afternoon. I've never been to any of their locations before, and have been meaning to try this place out. We got 3 strawberry flavored cupcakes, 1 cookies and cream cupcake, birthday cake macaron, and a mint truffle. I enjoyed the birthday macaron, but the texture is nothing like a real French macaron. The flavor I chose was much harder, and tasted more so like a delicate hard cookie. It was still good. My fiancé enjoyed his mint truffle, no complaints there. My oldest son and youngest son ate their cupcakes, but said it was way too sweet. They are 9 and 6 years old. My fiancé and I both tried the strawberry flavored cupcakes, and we both thought the frosting was a bit too sweet, and cake portion a bit too dry. Not too bad though. The store inside is super cute with lots of random candy, and other sweet treats. The lady that cashed us out was super friendly, patient, and overall gave us excellent service. Like others mentioned the cupcakes are on the smaller side with tons of frosting, and a bit pricy. As a family we just thought it was okay, but come here and try it for yourself.

I love cupcakes. All kinds of cupcakes. But there is something about Pinkitzel cupcakes that just automatically makes you so happy. These particular Pinketzels were delivered to my home, sent to me by a beloved colleague. I was having a tough day, but the sudden surprise of sugary goodness really changed the entire day for me. There is no telling how many of these pretty ladies they have created over the years, but each one was absolutely perfect. They were all different flavors, and each one was crafted with the maximum amount of attention to detail. I think it is impressive to see the quality has not changed in years, and that they were able to get to them to me in such perfect condition. They were not, I'm pleased to report, too pretty to eat. We ate them all over the course of just a few days. My favorites were the carrot cake and the red velvet, but I really think they were all delicious. You know I love my kids when I let one of them take the coconut one and I didn't even try to fight her for it. It was such a good reminder that all delivered surprises need not be flowers. These were every bit as beautiful as flowers, but I could eat them! More importantly, I bribed my children with these cupcakes for two days. Anytime anyone acted up, I was like, no cupcake for you, and man, they straightened right up! The cupcake as a secret weapon is something I can get behind!

" (Song: Sugar sugar-- By the Archies) Took a summer vacation with the family to Oklahoma and while walking the girls and I stumbled upon the magical candy shop, called "Pinkitzel Candy & Cupcakes." As you can imagine The girls begged and pleaded to enter and since I was hot from that summer Oklahoma heat we took a visit. To our surprise the inside was full of glam and glitz!The classic experience of a candy shop quickly took over not only for the kids but myself too. I felt childlike weaving and smelling all the sugary goodness. We bought some lollipops, macaroons, gum, cupcake and jelly beans! Macaroons were not my fav but the cupcakes are to lust over :). I decided to give Pinkitzel another chance and once again the disappointed. Super small (mini), overpriced, and just ordinary. My usually and favorite cupcake place, Buttersweet Cupcakes, is further, but worth the drive. I gave it 1 star because the shop itself is cute.

First, inside it's super cute! But as for their cupcakes? They're pretty lil things, especially in their gift box, but I find them undersized, overpriced and quality is inconsistent. And their macarons? Even worse. These small cupcakes have super tall frosting tops, so a fork is a must. And like I said, the quality varies. The strawberry lemonade cupcake is delicious and my favorite of theirs -- just sweet enough, frosting the right consistency, cake soft and fluffy, not dry. But their chocolate turtle was a fail, frosting too wet and sticky. I've had a lot of bad macarons, but these are the farthest from authentic I've encountered, texture and flavor almost like candy. They are not cooked properly, very chewy, then chilled. Their rosé flavor tasted like synthetically sweet strawberry cereal milk. No thanks.They do also have a fun selection of gifts, truffles and various candies, but again overpriced. While it's a cute spot, I have better cupcake options nearer my home, and Pinkitzel just isn't worth a trip out of one's way.

today is my boyfriends birthday and I wanted to get him a little cupcake to celebrate. I ask the lady at the counter if they have any birthday boxes and she says yes and packs up the cupcake. I wouldn't have asked if I'd known she was going to smash the life out of my cupcake. you'd think a cupcake shop would have birthday boxes that fit the cupcake. what a joke of a business

We went into Pinkitzel's open door and almost thought the store was vacant. It wasn't until later when we walked all the way into the back of the store by the macaroons and cupcakes behind the counter that we noticed a girl sitting, staring at her phone. No welcome, no acknowledgment, barely even looked up. Not to mention, we got one little bag of the candy they sell by weight...IT WAS $23! I'm surprised we even checked out. Some of the candy was very old/hard too. Guess I really wanted some candy. Overall just poor experience.

Good fast service. Great quality of product ordered a last minute gift for Valentine's Day and they were super helpful and friendly.

Ordered my wife's BDAY cake here, had it ready in 24 hours. Looks amazing and wife loved it. Thank you Pinkitzel!!!
