We went for New Year Eve for their 4 course dinner. It was also our 1st visit and we had been excited to try this place out especially for their pasta Upon arriving we were seated right away but waited about 10 mins for our menus and to be welcomed. Server wasn't interested in small talks or introductions; prob due to it being busy? We were offered; small plate, soup or salad, main course and dessert. I had ordered the gnocchi which were dry and had no flavor. My husband got the rice balls and they were amazing! We both got the Chicken Lemon Soup; wasn't bad but not my fav. Our main course we were too full to eat so we took home and enjoyed later! (chicken parm for him and bolognas for me). Desert was amazing; Brandy Ice for him and Panna Cotta for me! However, we had oil on the table and bread was never bought out. I had ordered a drink; never got it and was billed for it. No salt or pepper on the table; asked 3 times for some and never got. Never was asked how our food was or spoken too. Sadly for $89 pp this was disappointing.

We went here for valentine day special. There was a 4 course meal for 89. You get there they seat you and everything gets going . I got sat by the kitchen worst spot everyone kept bumping into my chair . Over all the night kept going and the door was good and the restaurant was clean and the waiter was so sweet and timed out our meal perfectly. Must try . The food is like upscale Italian no like you expect your nonna to be in the kitchen but it was a new taste experience. Belly welly, jelly

This restaurant has a cute vibe to it. Can be a date night spot. The table bread was fantastic! But, the entrees missed seasoning. Everyone had to add salt to all their dishes. This would be a good place for ambiance and drinks. Service was good and friendly.

Staff is very friendly and ambience is pretty quiet. Soft lighting and nice seating arrangements for a night out. With that said, we felt like they definitely need to upgrade the recipes. Chicken Parmesan that tasted and smelled like cheap oil that overpowered the whole dish. Barely taste any parmesan, and was just overly greasy. Bolognese was bland and lacked the depth of flavor of a traditional bolognese meat sauce. The only redeeming quality is the pasta was cooked well with a nice texture

This is one of those places we've driven by the past few years always say we should give it a try but always forget! One Saturday evening we actually tried it out! We came around 5:45 so there was about 15 min left of happy hour yes ... happy hour on a Saturday so we each got a drink i got a gin and tonic my husband got a beer. We ordered the bruschetta appetizer for half off, making it only around eight dollars. The bruschetta was decent. Nothing spectacular but okay. They give you complimentary focaccia bread and it is delicious! We liked this better than the appetizer. I ordered the shrimp linguine and the pasta noodles were delicious but the shrimp tasted like it was straight out of the freezer. I definitely wouldn't have ordered it again if i knew this. There was a couple sitting at the bar next to use they each tried their entrees sent it back and requested a refund. We've never seen this happen before but the manager handled it with grace and kindness.Service here was attentive and everyone was friendly. The manager even walked around checking on tables which i appreciated. The overall food quality here was nothing to rave about I've had much better Italian locally and probably wouldn't want to come back here unless it was close and in a time crunch or something.

Our group of five visited the restaurant after a long break. The wonderful meal made us regret letting so much time lapse between visits. There is bar seating and tables for groups big and small. There are also some very quiet and private booths on one side of the dining area. We enjoyed a quiet and relaxed meal without the usual noise of a bustling restaurant. The bread of the bread service was warm and wonderful. I've seen a recent trend where restaurants are charging for the bread but that's not the case here. I wish I had a picture of the ravioli appetizer but the menu pic on the website is true to form. Although everything was great we all agreed that this was by far our favorite taste of the night. We decided that a small salad and the ravioli would make a perfect meal, leaving plenty of room for dessert. I started with the roasted red pepper soup. It was very tomato soup forward and although tasty as tomato soup I struggled to taste red peppers. If you're in the mood for a delicious and hearty tomato soup you will love this dish. Three guests had the Caesar salad and raved about the fresh and crisp greens and the perfect amount of freshly grated cheese and dressing. Another guest had the lemon chicken soup which was fantastic. The lemon was light and added the perfect balance to the rich and creamy soup. I would definitely recommend this soup and it's what I'll order on our next visit. For the entree I ordered the lamb meatballs for a change of pace. The pasta was well prepared and the marinara was delicious. The lamb meatballs were good but this isn't something I'd order again. My husband had the shrimp scampi (sorry for the blurry picture) and said it was fantastic. He found it delightful in every way and deemed it the best scampi he's had in ages. Another person had the carbonara with guanciale. I was given a little taste and it was a very nice bite although very rich. I do recommend it though as the pork was well cooked and such a great addition to the pasta and sauce. Another diner chose the braised short ribs which was my second choice. He said that it was quite good and more than he could finish. The final dish picked was the stuffed chicken with walnut pesto. It's not on the online menu but is currently available and is certainly a worthy choice. It's an ample serving and the walnut pesto makes it unique in every way. If you're looking for a new take on chicken you will find this option to be perfect. We finished the night with a delicious take on a peach cobbler. You'll see the very unique presentation of the peach cobbler in the picture. It was a terrific change that made a normally heavy and sweet dish into something light and special. My only disappointment was that the veal involtini listed online isn't currently available. I discovered this dish on my last trip to Rome and learned how to make it by an Italian chef. I was hoping for a taste of Rome here in Oklahoma City. In any event, I'm hoping that it will return to the menu in the near future. However, don't let that stop you from visiting Piatto very soon. It's certainly among the very best Italian restaurants in our amazing city.

They make all their pasta in house. Shrimp scampi was delicious. The sauce was creamy, herby, with a little spice. My wife had the bolognese and loved it. Service was attentive as well. It was on the pricier side, but that's pretty much everywhere these days. They did well with our young kids too.

My whole experience eating at Piatto was outstanding! I arrived without a reservation and was greeted by the owner with a smile, despite being significantly under dressed for the wine tasting event that was scheduled for the night. I asked to be seated off to the side in a private booth and he was happy to deliver on my request. The calamari, pear salad and filet that i ordered were all top tier, with the cut of beef being absolutely amazing. I had read in other reviews that portion size at this establishment were small, however i found them to be quite large and both the appetizer and salad were sized big enough for 2 to share. The meal was so good, I decided to return the next day (more appropriately dressed this time) and enjoyed the 1/2 size Caprese Salad, Veal and Lemon cheese cake for desert. Again, each part of the meal was absolutely top notch just like yesterday's dinner.I travel the country for work, and try to find nice places to eat in each city i visit. This trip to Piatto was honestly just a convenience pick because it's close to the Marriott, but I am sure glad I found and will return again the next time I'm in OKC.

Warm personal service, beautiful surroundings and inventive dishes make this a top choice in the very competitive OKC dining market. Their bourbon list is a thing of envy! Ennis has it all figured out and you should take advantage.
