My mini schnauzer, Murphy, will turn 3 on Saturday and I have always been a loyal Paws Around Town customer. Susan goes above and beyond to make sure that your pet is taken care of.Every time I bring Murphy in the store he is welcomed with treats and smiles.Of course- things are pricey, but you get what you pay for. :)I recommend Paws Around Town to all of my friends and will continue to do so.

RUDE! ELITIST ATTITUDE! Here is the story, I'll admit I have shopped here for four years despite never really feeling comfortable. It just seemed like they were doing me a favor to let me buy something from them and note to self, perhaps I should dress for Neiman Marcus next time . Ok I can take it, I'll be back because where else could I find such unique pet gifts for my friends when they get a new addition to their family. I'll pretend like I'm shopping at Barney's in New York, they really have something to be elitist about. They finally pushed me over the edge when they were mean to my toddler! We will not be back ! I was hoping to avoid going in because they have a sign saying something about no one under 16 is allowed without an adult and something else about keeping human children on a leash, which is real funny until you discover it's not a joke. Even worse, they have two adorable puppies wearing tutus and feathers, jumping around at the windows and trying to escape whenever the glass doors open. I took her hand and went in, sporting my best smile and flashing a credit card suggesting I can pay, really I can. Needless to say, my toddler slipped her hand away and dropped to the floor, playing with the puppy which was now licking her. Now it would seem I should be the miffed one, what with her nasty dog licking my child but what the heck, we have a dog, then the other cute little dog runs over and the three are happy and the child is not touching things. Then I asked the older lady at the register a question as I attempted to pay for my expensive purchase and she glared at me with a kiss my grits expression and walked away. Hmmmm....whats that term for a female dog.......? Yes, that is what she was. As for my dog, he shops at Pet Smart where pets and people are welcome! This Is truly one store I hope will go out of business. PS - You can get trendy pet accessories on the internet.

If you're looking for a fancy dog boutique then this is your place. This boutique has an assortment of sweaters for your little pooch along with bejeweled collars and harnesses. I went into this place looking for Thunder gear for my pup and they had exactly what I was looking for. They have thunder jerseys, T-shirts, and bandanas. They also have OU/OSU gear along with some NFL teams. I walked around the store and noticed they had dog treats, dog food, and some dog toys if that's what you're looking for.

Stopped by over Christmas and brought my new pup. They were busy, but gracious. The stuff they have is high end, but not the typical stuff you find at pets-mart. You can find ANYTHING cheaper online, but its hard to find a cute dog gift today in OKC. They have a great selection of baked treats and specialty foods. Be careful, they do get your dog hooked on their great, but high priced treats.

It's a little priced. However, their employees are so kind, and really care about your pet. They gave me multiple samples of dog food to find the right one for my dog; who has a sensitive stomach. My vet even recommended them for food. They even special ordered a brand for me, then called me on the phone a few days later to let me know it was in. For every 10 bags you buy, you get 1 free. Support your local companies, and keep your dog in style.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! I've been in the store one time, and I will definitely NOT be going back. First of all, the merchandise is not that great. The collars and leashes look extremely cheap (yet for some reason they are expensive??). I have seen the same leashes at Petsmart . There is nothing special about the beds, tacky "clothes", and waterbowls. The only slightly redeeming factor is the natural food dog/treats; however, I make my own or can buy at the Barking Dog Bakery. But the worst thing about this store is the people who work there. They are extremely rude! We were greeted by dirty looks when we entered the store. When my nieces and nephews came in the store a few minutes later with their moms, not only were they greeted by nasty looks but the employee behind the counter actually had the audacity to gripe out the kids for getting too close to the dog leashes. When one of the kids tried to look around a curtain that he thought was another room of the store, the employee snapped at him, saying "That's the office! Get away from there". Humorously, my nephew misunderstood and said in awe... "That's the dog's office?" We all laughed thinking how funny it was that he thought the dogs worked in an office, but the employee yelled back at him, "That's our business office!!" She then proceeded to call over another employee and started openly griping about our family while we are still standing right there! Seriously? For a store that allows dogs to roam around and potentially pee and defacate on their floors, they sure do take issue with having a couple of 7 and 8 year olds picking out dog collars for their puppies. I was so offended by the way we were treated, I actually went back in the store and asked the rude employee if we had done something to upset her. She was completely rude to me even then! When I asked to speak to the manager, I found out she was the manager! Seriously? Being rude to customers is not practicing business very well. I will be advising people to NOT SHOP AT PAWS AROUND TOWN!

Disorganized and frustrating! I received a gift card to this store from a friend and went to get my new puppy a collar. They didn't have the collar in stock that I wanted, so we ordered it. No problem. I asked if they could just ship the collar to my house since I had or order it and they told me I would have to pay shipping and I told them that was fine and paid it. I get home and after going over my address about 3 times, she still had it wrong on the receipt (she had that I lived in Tennessee), and then 3 days ago, I receive a call from them saying "We have your collar. I know you already paid for us to send it to your house. Do you still want us to? Call us back and let us know." REALLY?! Why was this even a question?! Then today I call them because I still haven't received it when they called 3 days ago telling me they had it and asking if I still wanted it sent to my house (they are only about 10 miles away. I should have had it the next day) and I was informed it just went out in the mail TODAY. What a joke! They weren't apologetic whatsoever and didn't really care. You would think after a person paid $50 for a collar, they would try a little harder. Not the case. Just order online or go elsewhere and save yourself some grief.
