Paul's Place Steakhouse

It's been a while since I visited Paul's Place. We went this week with a group of 8 for a birthday lunch. The restaurant is very spacious, so even though they were quite busy with the lunch rush, our group was accommodated well. We started with the fried cheese curds, which were amazing. I will definitely be ordering those again! The menu is pretty expansive, so we ordered a variety of things. The chicken cranberry salad was a hit with those who ordered it. My chicken fried steak was good, but lacked a true homemade flavor. It was a great portion size for lunch. There were a lot of great options to choose from. I look forward to returning and trying more of what they have to offer.

A hidden Gem in the town of Shawnee Oklahoma. The prices are so reasonable and the portions are way more than adequate. Paul our waiter was just outstanding. My husband and I shared the mushroom appetizer. it was delicious. Then we shared the Rib Eye. it was tender, delicious and cooked just like we like it. it server was very helpful and attentive.

Good service from the bar staff! I wife lived there blackberry margarita! I had Paul's pasta, I enjoyed it.

Great little local place. My daughter had her pre game filet with 2 baked potatoes. You probably need a reservation on the weekends.

My sister & I visited on 7/31/24 for lunch. We ordered our usual spinach & artichoke dip. I don't like Spinach Dip but this place has the Best Spinach Dip, it's so creamy & delicious. We split the lunch fried chicken alfredo as the portion is large & is enough to eat for the two of us. Our server Genessa was excellent. She was friendly, funny & right there when we needed something without being intrusive. We hope we can always have her as our waitress. Whenever we are deciding to eat lunch, we both are always in agreement that Paul's is where we want to go for lunch. This restaurant is very clean & they have a variety of choices on the menu or on the monthly lunch specials.

I sat at the bar, I'm a regular customer. My server was Amy. I ordered a drink and glass of water. I had to make additional requests to get the water. I would think water would be a standard serving for any guest. After some time, I ordered a second drink. At that point, she asked other bar guests if they were ready for another drink and served them before making my drink.I decided to leave because of what I considered to be poor service. I told Amy of my disappointment and she basically blew it off, with no response to my disappointment.

I enjoy eating at Pauls. Unfortunately they keep it so cold that I can't go there anymore.
