Cool spot in OKC, came on a Sunday morning to walk around. Not much parking available on the street but some parking nearby. Lots of art galleries to take a look, not many restaurants. Cool architecture of buildings, small but neat spot to walk around.

Saturday night in Paseo Arts District OKC was fun and relaxing. We stayed at an Air B&B about a block from the district. We walked around the area taking in the sites. It was hot outside but so relaxing to be in the area. There were many small galleries, cafes and restaurants to choose from. We stopped at Chick -N- Beer for an appetizer of wings. Afterwards we went over to The Mayan Taqueria for some taco and chips. Of course, we had a beer at each place too. After dinner we went back to the Air B&B for some rest. This is a great place to read a book, sit and watch people, have a beer and some food, etcI'm happy OKC has a place like this to relax you and make you feel good about life. Thank you Paseo Arts District for another great memory in OKC!

Review #65Paseo Arts District Location: 3022 Paseo, OKC, OK 73103. The Paseo neighborhood is between NW 30th Street and NW 23rd St to N. Western Ave and N. Walker Ave. While the smaller Paseo Arts District area runs from NW 28th Street and N. Walker Ave and NW 30th Street and N. Dewey Ave/Paseo.Area: The Paseo Arts District (PAD) encompasses a collective of art galleries and schools, where 80-90 featured artists are on display; as well as restaurants and shops. The Paseo Arts Association was created in 1982, and they decide which artists will be approved to show their works in the galleries and for the monthly and annual arts festivals.Art Galleries/Schools: There are about 20 art studios in the PAD. A few of them are, Paseo Art Works, and Contemporary Art Gallery.Restaurants/Bars: The PAD also has at least seven restaurants and/or bars. The Paseo Grill and Picasso Cafe have been around awhile. There's Holey Rollers, OSO Paseo, Scratch Kitchen and Cocktails, Buttermilk Paseo, and Sauced on Paseo.Businesses/Shops: There are other business types like clothing and shoe boutiques, pottery, and the SixTwelve Inc.Design/Street Art: A few sculptures adorn the outside area along Paseo. The buildings in the area contain Spanish architecture with original clay roof tiles and stucco. Art Showings/Displays/Festivals: The individual galleries show artwork on a normal basis, while every first Friday of every month the "First Friday Gallery/Art Walk," held 6-9pm, is where the galleries and shops stay open longer to showcase the approved artists. The annual Paseo Arts Festival is held every Memorial Day weekend, for three days on Sat, Sun, and Mon.Parking: Parking spaces are available on the street right outside the businesses. However, as the PAD is only two street blocks, the parking fills up quickly and people park in the streets of the surrounding neighborhood.Posted Sat, 25 May 2019

I love coming to the Paseo! This district has the First Friday Artwalk (which is on the first Friday of every month.) You walk around to different shops and art galleries So what can you find in the Paseo? Lots of art galleries, several artsy places like a pottery shop/gallery with classes. They have adorable boutiques, funky stores, and some of the best restaurants in town. Oh and of course there are bars. They have you covered from doughnuts to drunk! Basically, come and check it out and spend the day!

This district is so welcoming and inclusive. Such a happy place to be and has a variety of shops. I love the shoe boutique and The Creative Studio the best! The Arts Festival is also amazing. We have taken some really amazing photos here, as well. Plus, Picasso Café has amazing desserts!

We always have a blast at these events and (no surprises here!) end up seeing about half our friends when we go.The live music, the open doors, the delicious food, the smiling faces, the beautiful artwork . . . hey, what's not to love?

A monthly tradition for me and many of my friends! It's a super chill way to wind down from the work week with some awesome art, live music, and of course the free delicious treats in each gallery. The ginger lemonade is probably my favorite. :DSometimes there are food trucks, and sometimes there aren't. But if you don't mind waiting a bit you can probably get a seat at one of the restaurants if you're hungry. It's held the first Friday of every month, come rain or shine. See you there!

Love Paseo First Friday Walk. Great, diverse crowd. Love talking to the shop owners and people in general.

OK, this is more an event rather than a business. But it involves a great number of art galleries and restaurants, shops, etc. I really think that it is one of the "can't miss" local events held on a regular basis in Oklahoma City. It is held the First Friday of every month, weather permitting, in the Paseo Arts District. When it's spring or nice weather it's a great way to enjoy local artists, local galleries, do a little shopping, or enjoy a drink or meal at the local restaurants. What I enjoy is that you can stroll along the galleries and most have a showing, where a local artist is available to explain or discuss his art with you. Sometimes artists will even be working live while the event is going on to show your their process. You can relax outside at Paseo Grill; have a drink (within parameters) and talk or people watch. Truly think this is on of the do not miss opportunities in our fair city. And since things change over time, while I would NOT go there every Friday, it's definitely an event that you can attend often or more than once. Besides, it will get you in the mood for the REAL Oklahoma City Arts Festival upcoming soon downtown. (grin)
