My husband and I came to Painting with a Twist for our anniversary date and truly enjoyed ourselves. Our instructor was Taylor and did such a great job. She was patient, and she went slow enough for us to capture the steps. The place is spacious and clean and all of the staff are very friendly. Check-in was quick and easy, and they have a nice selection of drinks to choose from.

The vibes here are top-notch. The artists and staff are extremely friendly and warm, keeping you engaged and having a blast from the moment you start. I loved getting encouraging comments on our work throughout. The artist was very thorough on instructions and made the class a breeze. I had so much fun on my first visit and I know this place is worth coming back to.

The Mrs. wanted to sip and paint as part of our 18th wedding anniversary weekend. This was her third trip to Painting with a Twist, but my first. It was cool to try something a little different on date night and it was an almost full house. Our dual portrait turned out pretty nice!

Recently went here for my birthday and had a blast! The environment was very relaxed and welcoming. There were 3 woman running the session (1 artist walking us through the painting and 2 walking around ensuring everyone had what they needed -- including drinks!) They kept everyone engaged by taking a small break in the middle of painting to play a fun activity. I'd definitely come back and would definitely recommend to a friend.

I had a really great date night at Painting with a Twist. My boyfriend took me after a rough week, and it really brought my spirits back up. The teacher was very up beat and easy to understand. She used a microphone. The assistant was very helpful and refilled paint and drinks as needed. They have wine and beer at the bar in the back. The teacher warned us that after a few drinks, some people accidentally drink their paint water instead of their beer or dip their paintbrush on their drink instead of the water. Apparently it happens enough that they have a face-in-the-hole type cut out for people that make that mistake. They also have other cute cut outs for photo ops. They took photos during the painting and also afterwards, which I thought was very nice. They do give always on Facebook if you follow their page. The options for paintings were very plentiful and diverse, so you can pick a class that is more girly or nerdy or religious depending on your tastes.

Been coming here for almost a year now and Leah and Hugh are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet. They teach mostly every class, and are thoughtful enough to hold classes every weekend for children over 6. They have a class every night for adults and share tips on how to make your painting look professional. It's quiet and you can have real conversations with your instructor. For the kids they even play painting games. A true gem in Casady Square.

I had a great paint night with my boyfriend and our friends. This was our first time at painting with a twist, but it was a blast. The drink selection was great, and the artist guiding us that night had a great sense of humor. We fully intend to plan another paint outing at painting with a twist!

This was a fun spot. The staff was super welcoming as soon as my friend and I walked inside. They had a good variety of painting classes to choose from. We picked the palm trees and sunset. Our instructor, Johnny, was really nice and always willing to help one-on-one when needed. The one drawback I saw with this class was that I felt rushed. Granted, I naturally take my time with things but I think it would've been better if, for this painting, it was a 3 hour class instead of a 2 hour class. I'm a beginner and need more time with the paintings. Even my friend, who is experienced, felt like she needed more time. On the bright side, it was a $35 class which is much better than the $45+ prices I have seen with some other places. I would definitely come back to Painting with a Twist again.

They are doing a great job during the pandemic still allowing classes to go on. They require masks unless you are having something to drink/eat. There is plenty of social distancing going on and they gave the instructions loud enough for all to hear and had a video of what the instructor was doing to follow along. They made the time fly by when you had to pause to allow things to dry with a fun game. My main reason for not giving a five star rating is that I wanted assistance with a few items on my painting. The assistant artist gave good ideas, but when I asked if he could demonstrate it, he said I was doing fine. But I didn't feel like I was. I saw him helping others with their canvas and painted parts for them. Now whenever I see my canvas at home, I still get frustrated that this one part didn't turn out how I wanted.

I loved this!I am not usually a fan of the paint by instruction type classes. They go faster than I like and it feels so stuffy. We did an acrylic pour and it was so fun. We were spread out into our groups we signed up with and the class was more open to make your own choices on how you want the piece to look. The employees were friendly and their energy was upbeat and refreshing. If you want to try a paint and palette type class but not really a fan of the " Bob Ross" type of class. I would come here and do the paint pour.
