Our Town Eatery

My son had chicken fried steak which he raved about because it clearly was hand buttered and didn't separate from the meat. Granddaughter had chicken strips which were also homemade and she ate them all. I had the bacon cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese and jalapeños. Yum yum! I like that the buns are toasted. Also had sweet potatoes fries. Sorry, no photos, too busy eating.

Great food and customer service! The catfish and shrimp have both been amazing and priced well!

It was ok. Had a chili Frito pie. Not quite as good as sonic but it was ok. Didn't get any eating utilities. I probably should have tried something else place looks cool though. I will eat there again soon and hopefully improve my perception of the place. Going to up it to 4 star I don't think picking a small side late in the evening is fair to this place. Looks like it has the heat of the town and supports the school. I'll go again

I've stopped in here twice and both times walked away impressed. The spaghetti dinner was excellent and plentiful. Tried a burger the next time and was just as impressed. Keep up the good work.

Had the catfish. It was good. No military discount. Cole slaw was acceptable. Staff was friendly. Will eat here again.

Really off beaten path but the food is very good, catfish basket was one of the best. Not the greatest atmosphere but food and service makes up for it

I love to look up out of the way, small businesses when traveling. This is a small hometown place and worth the stop! They have a home cooking buffet that we did not get but others did and looked like enjoyed it. My husband and I went for a burger and grilled cheese with tater tots and everything was perfect. Clean area/bathrooms. Very friendly staff. Great prices.

I love OTE! The new buffet is fantastic! I just wish they offered it during the evening on days other than Friday. But I understand it is a lot for a small business.

Yucky food waitresses smell like ashtrays. Nothing to say here. They smoke in their little room and it smells terrible

Stopped here while driving on Route 66 and it was great! I had the ultimate grilled cheese and it was excellent! I was just expecting cheese, but it had onions and peppers in it and it was such a pleasant surprise! Very very good! Service was friendly. I would definitely stop here again over the Sonic up the road!!
