Service was friendly and a cute little space in the plaza district. They have affordable rolls and selections from sushi, habachi, appetizers, rice and noodles.First, we got the yellowtail special and it did not disappoint! Fish was fresh, light, slightly fatty, and have a nice soft, slight meaty texture. Paired well with the sweetness of the ponzu and fresh jalapeñoThe Grand Line roll is so refreshing! It's more delicate in flavors and I love the variety of fresh fish with the texture of the cucumbersThe Volcano Roll unfortunately didn't hit the mark. The sauce was salty and very thick. the very few scallops were overcooked and tiny. Wasnt our favorite The Alaska roll is simple and deliciousOverall, it was a pleasant experience and I would definitely come by to try out more of their menu

FoodThe only thing they didn't have was hot tea. I had 6 rolls of salmon and 6 rolls spicy tuna. The rolls are so small compared to what I had in the past, maybe it's shrinkflation which half the country is oblivion to that, enough said. The flavor is okay I had better. Oshiki is a great addition to the Plaza District. We had actually stopped by the OG location a couple of weeks ago at Quail Springs Mall before a movie, so it's nice that they were able to open up another location close to us. Our experience here was better than the one in the mall. It's an ideal place for a quick dinner that doesn't break the budget. Our server was very kind. The clear soup was simply full of flavor. The rolls we had were all delicious and fresh tasting. It's reasonably priced too. A minor complaint is that the seaweed wrapping is too chewy.

Came to Oshiki to try it out as it is newer. We really enjoyed! We ordered crab Rangoon, yellowtail tuna, various hibachi, fried rice and noodles. Everything was delicious! Our waitresses were nice and attentive. However, she filled our drinks up with the wrong order. We weren't too worried about it. The place is small, eclectic, and intimate. We overall had a great experience.

Gyoza appetizer was fantastic and has an amazing dipping sauce that compliments it well. Highly recommend it! Better than a lot of other places.I had the crunchy tempura shrimp roll. It was good. About on par with other places. Small rolls; eight pieces. Nice sweet and minorly spicy flavor. Could do with a few more crunchies.Overall a good experience. Swift and comfortable service. Great new addition to the plaza restaurants.

I guess their full name is "Oshiki OK: Japanese Steakhouse" and they just opened Monday 7/15/24. Their fried rice is the bomb! Also didn't see any yakiniku or Japanese bbq on their menu but maybe they will add it later. Standard Japanese fare like yakisoba, sushi, edamame, etc. The interior looks awesome and would also be an excellent venue for mixers or events. The owner mentioned that there also will be a patio. Prompt service. Highly recommended and definitely check it out next time you are in the Plaza District!

I'll preface this with I am hoping to go back later, revisit this place and edit this to a better rating. We visited during their soft opening. We were really excited to try it. The decor is adorable and we really liked the vibe of the place. Our waitress was really friendly although she seemed very scatterbrained. I doubt this was her fault considering she was running the entire restaurant (patio and dining room and hostess stand) herself. It was a pretty steady crowd and really should have had at least two servers. The kitchen was incredibly slow. It took 45 minutes to get our food and we never got the salad that came with our meal. The manager came by once but was mostly stuck in the back trying to bail out the kitchen. The food was at least worth the wait. Our sushi was delicious and both of our entrees were great. He got the steak hibachi and I got the yakisoba. The food is worth giving the service the benefit of the doubt though. It was a soft opening so they are still working the kinks and staffing out.
