One River Restaurant

This restaurant is inside the sac and Fox casino in Shawnee, Oklahoma. I feel like those facts automatically give it a little extra grace. The prices are very fair and the food is adequate. If you're looking for a meal while you're out gambling and drinking this is an awesome place to go but if you're looking for a fun moderately high class date event before you go gambling you probably don't want to stop here. You can order a mixed drink but they'll have to go get it from the bar and there's generally one person working. We ordered the surf and turf which was $16 and I could not complain it was not terrible and I got the Caesar salad which was the special for five dollars which included chicken. We got chips and queso for I believe seven dollars and it was probably my favorite part of the meal. Overall I was not impressed but not revolted by any means. If you're in the casino when you're hungry and don't wanna leave it's definitely not a bad place to dry. I would not decide to go here if you weren't planning on your priority being gambling. Our waitress was very nice and adequate.

Friendly, small restaurant in the casino (Blackhawk Casino) in the back. Has a full bar and full menu. All American food. Nothing out of ordinary or ethnic as to menu. Usually runs food specials. Like $6 full fried chicken dinner; $12 Full Prime rib dinner on weekends; $4 Cheeseburger basket monthly specials, etc.Really enjoyed their Chicken Fried Steak. It's a real piece of steak/meat..........not just frozen ground beef like many places. Large. Comes with a small salad and choice of mashed potatoes or fries for like $10. Go in EARLY if you want to partake of their weekend Prime Rib dinner. It's tasty but they tend to run out quick due to demand. The restaurant is small but the service is friendly. Sometimes they are a little slow as they get overwhelmed but they mean well. Worth a try MOST definitely if you are in the area and like to play a little cards or slots or video poker.

This is a good restaurant and I've never been disappointed in any menu item BUT the closing time of this restaurant is 10:00pm. NOT 1:00am. Be sure to call ahead before going to ensure the restaurant is open :)
