Gorgeous
How pretty is this?
There was a photo area so you can't pick the flowers here. Such a brilliant idea!
The husband's into picking tulips while I'm into taking photos ... there he goes running off with a basket to choose his blooms ... lol
Come to think of it, this is not a very artsy picture ... hahahahaa

We wanted to just go in and look at Tulips but there is a $5.00 each fee.So may come back when more are in bloom! If you want to pick them it's 2.50 a stem.We were just on a Sunday drive and saw this was open. I'm not sure how long Tulips would stay alive with me so I would just rather admire them.

This place was great! There is a huge variety of beautiful tulips to choose from and the staff is great. Everyone was so kind, helpful and friendly. It was a great experience today. We wish them all the best and look forward to visiting again sometime.

The husband and I just got home from this newly opened You Pick tulip farm today and had an absolutely lovely time. The colourful tulips were breathtaking! We've visited a couple of other similar farms but they weren't in our Oklahoma backyard, so this made our little excursion even more inviting as we love to support locally owned businesses. They posted about having a shaved ice truck there on Saturday and, at first, it didn't sound like they would be there today (I stalk their IG and FB .. lol). When they'd announced that the shaved ice truck will be there on Sunday the husband and I were thrilled. Who wouldn't jump at a nice cold treat while picking gorgeous flowers :)We drove out just after lunch as they opened at 1pm today. We were a few feet away at around 2 mins to 1pm when gooogle maps alerted us to the destination on the right. A truck had just pulled in and a gentleman could be seen at the gate appearing to be opening it. The husband said that it was most likely the entrance. There was a fair sized parking lot of a store just a few metres down the road on the opposite side and you can see a trail of cars pulling out and getting in line to enter the farm. Many people were parked there waiting for opening time :) and so we joined right in with the procession.I'm assuming everyone that manned the ticket booth and the flower wrapping table were all part of the family. It was just a feeling we had. Everyone was incredibly friendly and we truly didn't feel like customers but more like friends visiting the farm. Most of the tulips were in full bloom with just a couple of patches that are not quite there yet and a couple that have carried out their glamourous duty for the season. I especially love the orangey red tulips for their stunningly vibrant colour! No filters needed for IG posting that's for sure!We truly LOVE LOVE LOVE Oklahoma Tulips and hope they continue to do good business so we could come back to visit every year and make this a new tradition for us. Have I mentioned yet how much we LOVE this place? :))))
