First time at this museum. I brought a client to the Deck the Halls (Santa claus pictures, fix reindeer food and writing letters to Santa). The building is beautiful and the exterior patio has a grand place to host weddings, showers or any special occasion. The Wayman tisdale exhibit has a nice tribute. The Oklahoma hall of fame is a great recognition of many great Oklahoma's.

We went with a big group for a tour. Our tour guide whizzed us through as fast as he could, and did not allow us to work with some of the interactive parts of the exhibit. Otherwise, I think it would've been more interesting for the kids because after all, you know, kids like to touch things. we did learn some interesting things throughout.

I came here for an event but had the opportunity to look around. It was really nice and a great way to see the history of Oklahoma. It made me sad though, that this is how people are remembered.

Fantastic museum full of all kinds of Cowboy and Western visual and sculptural art. Lots of historical displays. My wife and I spent several hours there and still weren't able to take it all in. We'll be back. Thanks for the Senior discount. Go there!

Beautiful venue filled with Oklahoma history from the foundation to the rooftop. The property sits on the edge of historic Heritage Hills near Midtown OKC, so the location is quite perfect! The Hall of Fame is perfect for special events, receptions, parties and even school field trips. There are often free admission days during the summer so you can pack up the kids and show them all the amazing people that come from our great state - the motto is "Telling Oklahoma's Story Through Its People". We attended a sold out event for Oklahoma Craft Breweries and the event took place on the 4th floor. It was comfortable and modern, but also felt sold out...it was really crowded and lots of folks mingling and standing around. We wanted to try at least one sip from each of the exhibitors, but the constant dodging shoulders and excuse-me's kinda seem not worth it. I would say this event was a huge success and could either be split over two floors or held in a larger space. The catering was great and featured a wide assortment of small bites from chicken and waffles to bbq pork sliders and mini hot dogs.

This place is just so beyond beautiful! Much more picturesque than I imagined. It is like a fairytale or a building that was uprooted from OU and plopped in uptown. We came here for Oklahoma Born & Brewed tonight and we were pleasantly surprised with how awesome the event was.I know that Ned's Catering is not part of the museum but I just want to give them a shoutout for having amazing food (lobster Mac was divine) and super helpful/pleasant/professional wait staff. You can tell that those staff members took pride in their service and it did not disappoint. We walked into the lobby to a very efficient and quick check-in then went upstairs for the event. When the elevator doors opened, we were blown away with how impressive the setup was for the hall. There were beautiful furniture pieces all over with a modern vibe. The ballroom was lined with tables along the wall full of food from Ned's and a bunch of OK Brewery kiosks. It was so cool to see the mixture of big/small businesses and hearing their stories while trying tasty brews! My final props go out to the band that played most of the night nonstop and had full energy and great entertainment the entire time. They sounded amazing and were easy to listen to. Will be back in the future to actually see the rest of the museum!

I'm thinking this museum goes overlooked by travelers coming through Oklahoma City, but it's worth a stop.I wasn't sure what to make of this museum when I saw it on the map, and didn't put it on my itinerary for my vacation here. But after eating I drove by and decided to stop in and walk around until I got hungry again. As far as I can tell the entire museum and grounds have 3 people working there. A host, a young woman at the gift shop and another in a side office. All very kind. All of the museum is on the second and third stories, and I swear to you that I was the only soul in that entire place. They allow you to explore the museum at your own pace with no security guards, docents, or any other worker. Meaning I caught myself asking the questions "Can I touch this? Is this a part of the exhibit or can I step on it? Am I allowed to go into this room?" quite a few times during my visit. The museum itself is clean and sleek with modern interactive exhibits. It is pretty small so you can expect to take it all in in about an hour.A temporary exhibit right now is the works of artist O. Gail Poole and I enjoyed it. Admission is worth it at $7.The outdoor garden area is also a nice place to experience when it's not 100 degrees outside.

First time at the museum and the front desk lady with glasses was very rude. I'm sure the museum can hire someone with more class
