Such a fun night. We bought tickets at the door at the last minute (even with an accident on 35 and making it to the game after it had started). Nosebleed seats weren't bad just steep (and only $16) and the energy of the crowd was amazing. Not too many different food options- bbq, nachos, chicken fingers. I really wanted pizza hut (had personal pan options for about $10, 4 slices, nice n' hot), but had to wait in line with my friends for their food and return later once the pizza delivery showed up. Thunder had no trouble getting past the Suns (and I've even seen the Suns at their home arena), and the halftime entertainment was a well-known performer from America's Got Talent. (Plus, the Thunder had good team colors. We all know that that's important). Will definitely be back if I am in town

We were not sports fans and actually avoided events before being given tickets to a Thunder game. The team is incredible, but the energy in the arena is the star for me. There is always something going on in the arena. Shirt Giveaways, fun timeout events, and more. The prices are high and restricts many people being able to enjoy the games but we will continue to go whenever possible. We love watching on tv but it is nowhere near as cool as being in the arena with all of the fans.Hate it that Thunder Alley was killed by scuzzbuckets.

I recently moved to Oklahoma and I have never been much into basketball (aside the few games I played with friends as a kid lol) but the Thunder won my heart instantly. Then the Playoffs came around and I really got into it, so when I saw a few single game tickets were available for purchase I said "what the heck!" and went on to ticketmaster and found like the only pair left (it was just meant to be) and surprised my boyfriend with playoff tickets to see the Thunder. I think brownie points were earned that day. He had seen them before but never once been to a playoff game (bucket list got a checked off event that day) and they were "nosebleeds" of course, I mean this is the playoffs! This is the Thunder! And this was a really important game for us. Loud City here we come!We got ready for the game day which was soon approaching; I did my nails and makeup with traditional Thunder colors and he got a new shirt and short set just for the game. We were thrilled to go see them live. This is just after KD had been awarded the MVP title. We knew it would be awesome and were really excited to go see this game!Game day - yes I am trailing my bf who is ready to go as I'm doing my nails lol. Yes we rushed to get there, but made it on time, early even, but didn't get to sign the card in Thunder Alley (which btw was packed!). Entering the area was a breeze. We got right in, not much of a wait, got our play books and found our seats. Yes they were up there (section 327) but I was amazed at how great they were. I mean you really could see everything. I've been to events in the past and seating was decent but this was really great for the price for playoff seats. The game was absolutely intense from the very second. I have never experienced the feeling of unity so much so as I did that night. It was epic. The Thunder played well and the game seem to go by really fast but was a real nail biter. I was on the edge of my seat or cheering and screaming 98% of the game. No lies. It was the best sporting event I have ever experienced in my life. I guess I would only say that next time I will try for better seats cause there was a really large woman in the seat next to us who took up her seat and half of ours (eesh). And I'm not a little thing, but after switching seats with my bf who is a tall husky guy I felt like the stereotypical small person stuck I between two large people on a plane lol. I sat close to the edge of my seat cause she was just really in my way (like smacked me in the head once and the arm 3x until she finally sat on the back of her seat which offered me some comfort) and I got tired of my feet going numb from being smashed into my seat. The seats are made for the average size fan and she was not. Still this wasn't really a huge concern for me at that type of event as I was on my feet a lot of the time anyhow. Now if it were like idk some music show then I don't know if it would have been doable.Food is costly and water will set you back $4 a bottle. I got some gear after the game and two shirts ran me $75. Worth it for me but maybe not for everyone. This was an epic event and I was so thrilled to be apart of it. If any seats are open for the next home game I will surely get them. I love the Thunder and support them in every way. They are a terrific team, even on their worst day, they are awesome and get my full support. Thunder Up!!!

Reading the one star reviews of Supersonics fans is actually pretty funny. The utter failure of the Thunder that so many of these petulant people (on here, and out there in the real world) predicted never came. Well it kind of came, and then... it was like one of those Disney movie miracle moments. Imagine the "Flying V" from the Mighty Ducks movie. Now imagine that it isn't an affront to mankind, and you have the Thunder.I'm not a fan of the obsessive college football culture of this state so an NBA team was a breath of fresh air. Which is why Oklahoma City fans appreciated the Thunder even when they sucked. And they did suck at first. But I remember going to watch the games when they were less than great, and having a blast because of the energy in the building. I once got floor seats and the only word that could describe that night is "electric." That's right, I'm going to be cliched and cheesy. And this is before we got a brilliant coach like Brooks. We didn't care if we had one of the worst teams at the time. We were just happy to have a team. And now look at them. And if they were to suck again, our city would still love 'em. Well, I know I would. The facilities are pretty stellar too. I've never been one to gloat because it's just so childish, but... it's just so much fun when you see how whiny some of these reviews are. To the former fans, I quote Eric Cartman: "Oh let me taste your tears! Oh, the tears of unfathomable sadness! My-yummy! Mm-yummy, you guys!"

After 4 years from inception, I finally witnessed an OKC Thunder basketball game in my home town...OKLAHOMA CITY ! During the Thanksgiving Holiday (2012), I watched KD (Kevin Durant) and the Thunder beat my other favorite team, Los Angeles Clippers. I was very impressed with the Chesapeake Energy Arena aka the Ford Arena aka the Thunder DOME ! The facilities were top notch, clean and modern ! Definitely a step ahead of MSG (Madison Square Garden) and on par with the Verizon Center (DC). Unlike those arenas, the Thunder dome was family friendly as I never heard anyone cursing or noticed anyone getting booted out. Every seat provided a great view. I was fortunate to find tickets on the upper deck, row A through craigslist. However, court side seats are the place to be as Metta World Peace said: "I didn't realize Oklahoma had so many, like, fine women . . . I felt really comfortable. I hit my first two shots, it was mainly because of how beautiful the women were."http://content.usatoday.com/communities/gameon/post/2012/05/metta-world-peace-gives-okc-women-thunderous-praise/1#.UgQioTmtjJwBesides people watching, the between time-outs and during the end of the quarters (halftime) entertainment was nice. The energetic MC showcased virtual interactive competitions between different sections, dancing fans on video cam as well as the infamous kissing cam ! During half-time a Chinese lady (Rong Niu) balanced Bowls On A Unicycle. I have to admit, I saw her perform when the New Orleans Hornets relocated to OKC after Katrina. She did not fall during either performances! But all entertainment aside, the main show was on the court and of course the Thunder prevailed 117 - 111 in over-time. THUNDER UP !

Always a great time at the Oklahoma City Thunder! Everyone that works at the arena are so nice and helpful with any questions I may have! Easy access to and from the arena is what makes a trip from where I am (Broken Arrow) easy to make! However, the seats are a tight fit and cup holders are limited! But there are also a lot of concessions to choose from that are very inexpensive in my opinion! Lots of interactive things to do on the concourse before the game!
