Do NOT go to this place. It's just a small shabby house. We told them that we were inexperienced riders and they sent us on a trail by ourselves where our horses proceeded to freak out. The owner tried to blame us for the horse problems. The first time we called them on the phone to come help they didn't think to stay for the remainder of the ride to make sure nothing else happened. The second time we ran into trouble they tried to resolve it over the phone instead of riding to help and even when we finally got them to come help they took forever to get to us. I ended up walking the rest of the trail and didn't get my money back.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. We did not see this review until after the fact...There is an option to have a guide or not. We had the same experience except that we did not have the phone number with us and we had to figure it all out ourselves. My horse was the only legitimate freak out, as it bolted from the group on the way back...RUNNING...I am not very experienced either and I was screaming and holding on for dear life. I really thought I was going to fall. I tried to control the horse but I had no effect. When we were farrrrrr from the group, he settled down and I just talked softly and sang the rest of the way back. I did not do ANYTHING to guide him. My daughter said her horse was bucking and my son said that his horse was bucking too...probably more just rearing back, but still, not in control. All the horses wanted to run. My group was 7 people including a 10 year old and a 14 year old. We have ridden a few times but few and far between. My husband said (in retrospect) we should have had a guide...it's $20 more. Here is the deal though...ALL THAT ASIDE....say that part was our fault since we didn't have a guide...when I returned to the establishment, the girl who was talking to me about why I wasn't with the group and looked at my horse and said, "Oh.....blah blah blah (something ) was broken..." Something on the part around his mouth. That is the reason I could not control the horse. THEN my son rides up and his stirrup had come off during the ride. Not his foot out of it. IT CAME OFF. The man did not acknowledge what the girl said to me...he kind of shoo'd her away and smiled at me....really friendly...thanked us for coming...Nothing about being sorry for our issues. So, IF you go here, get a guide...at least they can hopefully address your issues during the ride. As for the equipment, I don't know what to say would fix that...it was too bad because we have enjoyed riding in the past but never again there. The people there seem nice, but they should not let these horses out with strangers.
