OKANA Resort & Indoor Waterpark

I somehow forgot to mention T.Jackson He was the first voice and face of our experience. He set the mood with his incredible hospitality. Just a truly kind man!

First night at Jack Rabbit Restaurant at OKANA resort! WOW! Food was amazing! Large portions and really great food! OKC newest restaurant!

We didn't stay the night here, just came for the arcade and food. Chidos Mexican restaurant was too expensive for the poor quality. The cheese dip tasted like nacho cheese in a can and my tacos didn't even come with the ingredients listed on the menu. It took awhile to even get our appetizer and unfortunately we weren't the only table with this problem. We also tried the candy shop which had great icecream and the employees were friendly. The candy choices were pretty underwhelming, which can be said about the arcade and the ticket shop. If you're looking for a good arcade go to Round 1! Overall I was disappointed as it seems OKANA has been over hyped by influencers:(

Worst experience ever!!! Waited in line for over three hours just to get our name on the list to check in. Didn't get our room until after 6 pm. There are only 2 sit down restaurants one is reservation only ( which doesn't make sense. ) and the other spot is Mexican and they ran out of food! Not much to the hotel indoor Waterpark it's incredibly humid a small arcade an ice cream shop and the 2 restaurants. Wouldn't come back! Don't believe the internet hype. Even the valet took over an hour to get our car! The whole time felt like I was paying them to waste my time.

So, we had the invite and pleasure to stay for the weekend of the soft opening Feb 14th - Feb 16th, 2025. The check-in process was pretty easy, the room was alright. I don't think they cleaned the room very well. Only had one small trash can and it was in the bathroom, no microwave to reheat up food from the 2 restaurants. The Waterpark is a good walk from the rooms as well as the spa. The Spa was awesome and the people that worked in the spa was super nice and helpful. The water in the waterpark was really cold and the food and drinks were a little pricey. The Jack Rabbit was crazy on their prices. We ate at the Mexican restaurant and waited over 2 hours for our food that we did not even like. There chips were nasty, and you had to pay for chips and salsa. I seen a few kids get scrapes on their legs from the wave pool.

Overall great experience, however food is very expensive and arcade is 100% a ripoff, but to be fair I came for the room and the Waterpark which both exceeded my expectations. Seth who was working the surfing simulator was a very cool and nice guy who explained the how to do the simulator fun and safely. Wouldn't expect this to be in oklahoma but I'm glad it is.

Checking in on opening day with glitches to be expected but it seemed they were at every turn. The waterpark itself is nice. The rooms can be quite far from the waterpark if you are on the west side of the hotel. The taco restaurant was very slow and pretty expensive for what we ordered. The arcade is a waste of money and of course they place it right before you go into waterpark. The life guards let some people who were over the height limit go down certain slides but not others. Making purchases in the candy shop was complicated because you had to pay for candy and ice cream separately at different registers. Leaving was the most frustrating part. The ticket to get out of the parking garage instructs you to scan and pay with your phone and after doing so the arm to get out would not raise. I ended up having to pay twice, total of $48, for 1 night and no way to request a refund. Puts a sour note on the experience on the way out. Wish it was a better experience.
