I love reading! This place is the absolute best a facilitating my obsession. The librarian Shelley is the absolute sweetest. She remembers me every time I come in. Bonus once you have a card you can check out books electronically. Plus you can put yourself on the wait list if their is a specific book you want but is never available. They have dvds and blu rays you can check out too. Free Wi-Fi and the bathrooms are always clean.

It is so quiet in here, you almost dare not talk. Too quiet really. You can literally hear the toilets flush in the bathroom. And the hand dryers in there are so loud the entire place knows your business. It's just one big room divided up into various spaces, small for a library but adequate. They have a sparse selection of books, but can order any book for you. A good portion of their space is wasted on a cafe with uncomfortable furniture. I did not see any conference rooms and only two private reading desks along the wall. Also lacked a larger table for projects or group work.It is a good place to study, read, write, think, etc. And it's a nice looking space, clean and newish. Unlike the main library, this one is not a homeless hangout/bathroom. It is what it is and gets the job done for what my family needs it for. I rounded up to 4 stars for the kind way in which the security guard told everyone they were closing.

Pros: it's very clean.Cons: nothing is in stock, few computers, few well, everything. They literally have NO stock. It's sad really. The man I spoke to laughed at me when I asked about a book and nearly walked me out the door saying go to the main library in Norman. Maybe they will get it together sooner than later. Otherwise they are simply taking up building space. And I would much rather go there than the main library because that place is GROSS.

Fantastic library, albeit small. The book dispenser is quite a novelty, but also really useful for picking up books transferred from other branches after hours. There are plenty of comfortable places to sit and read, a few computers, and the coffee shop is a nice feature that I really appreciate.I wish it were bigger, but the fact that you can easily have materials delivered from any of the other Pioneer Library system branches makes the collection much larger than the building would suggest.
