Nichols Restaurant

I was traveling from Tulsa to Dallas on Hwy. 75 South and stopped in at Nichol's Restaurant on a Wednesday morning at 10:30. The directions on google maps took me to a residential area, but I eventually found my way to the right spot (the restaurant is next door to the HiWay Inn motel and across the street from the Phillips 66). The place was clean, cozy and packed with happy customers. The service was prompt and friendly. I had the egg breakfast with sausage, hash browns and biscuit & gravy. It was all delicious! I will be back!

Absolutely amazing all meat omelette with jalapeño.service was excellent the establishment is clean.

Stopped here on a whim for lunch while driving through town on a 1000 mile road trip. Small family owned cafe with very friend and fast staff. Menu offered typical choices such as salads, chicken fried steak, & burgers. We started out with an appetizer of fried pickles. If I hadn't already ordered a sandwich, I would have stopped after just this because the serving was huge. It was a friendly place with pictures of recent high school graduates. The two of us dined for less than the price of two fast food meals. I couldn't give it 5 stars because the restrooms were not in ADA compliance. You have to squeeze by high chairs to get to them. Still, well worth the stop.

We stopped in the very home town cafe (Nichols Cafe Kiowa,Ok ) reading a closure message on the entrance " We will be closed" for a funeral. The restruant was very cozy and comfortable and the staff above friendly! We ordered 2 different lunches.One special of the day Meatloaf, homemade mash potatoes, green beans and a dinner roll. One Cheeseburger basket.Fresh ground beef on a fresh bun with chosen vegetables and dressing. French fries- freash cut potatoes fried to a golden brown. There is only one way to describe each meal.. Delicious! Tasteful! Reasonable!We live approximately 1 hr from here but cannot wait to return!Thank you for the wonderful lunch!

They have amazing food and amazing service I highly recommend the popcorn shrimp it is amazing along with the hot chocolate is just amazing

Small town country diner. Don't over think it. They got a great burger, with thick patties and good homemade fries. On Fridays they have an all you can eat catfish or fried shrimp (or both) with slaw, tater salad and beans. And it's all good. And it's only $12.

It doesn't exist! We were looking forward to something local but Nicolas' address was a bunker.

Nothing great about it. The BLT didn't have mayonnaise so it was dry. The daily special was Italian chicken, which is just chicken breast covered in cheap Italian dressing. The included dessert was a cut up cake left out on a table on the middle of the restaurant. Took a long time to get anything. Waitress wasn't attentive or friendly at all. Wasn't the worst food we have had in this trip but I'd drive a little farther if you can wait to eat.

Stopped while traveling home to Houston. Food was great and the waitress was friendly.

Good food at a good price! Their all you can eat fish Fridays are a must for catfish and shrimp.
