The setting is straightforward. Late night pizza, drunk college children, immature register worker, rude kitchen staff. If you're expecting anything more, move along. The pizza tasted like the boxed, frozen variety from a big box grocer. We were really hungry and figured out how to stomach just enough. The rating would have been three stars, but they lose another star for the disappointing and entitled attitude projected by staffers, beginning with two back counter kitchen employees and ending with the register person. Unfortunately, remarkably disappointing all around.

The number one place I know of for great New York thin, foldable slices or whole pies. Salads and pasta dishes are also available. There are a lot of tables for dining. A fixture on campus corner since my college days, the owners are actually from New York. They do it right! Still have to try Pronto NY in OK City. To be fair to negative reviewers, we usually order a fresh whole pie, which can make all the difference!

Garbage. This is not New York Pizza. This is Costco pizza. Even those two dummies that run around Costco yelling boom wouldn't give this pizza a boom. If you are 19 and drunk and this place was open at 2 am, it would soak up the alcohol. The reviews of this place are nonsense. They show the ignorance of the people writing them. There is nothing here that resembles anything in New York. Look at the crust. That is not a New York crust. It's too thick. The sauce is a bad food service canned sauce.This is not even a good college town pizzeria. Think Ian's in Madison WI or original Cottage Inn in Ann Arbor or even Daniel's at Rutgers.

Went to New York Pizza and Pasta on Campus Corner in Norman, Ok after the spring game "Boomer"!!. The place has a cool NY feel to it with old brick walls and a nice bar area. On game days, you can hear the crowd from inside.I got two traditional cheese slices "one bite everyone knows the rules"....Service was great, food was ready in about 5 minutes. I would consider this a NY style football pizza...Pizza had a great undercareage, little NY flop but had a great crisp, cheese was solid and fresh, sauce was tangy and fresh...see that burn bubbble, just like i like it...Gave the pizza an 8.1, great Pizza, not just for the for the OKC metro area but for anywhere.

Pizza is pretty decent for a chain restaurant. Never ordered a whole pie, only tried it by the slice. Had a calzone this past Saturday and there was a ton of ricotta cheese but not much sausage. Felt like they really skimped on it. Crust had a nice amount of buttery garlic.
