Neveria La Fuente De Michoacán

This is an excellent Mexican sweets shop with great ices, juices, and other dessert items flavored with fruit. Great service and cozy ambiance with some seating. Recommended!

Small Mexican store that sells ice cream, desserts, and special drinks. Not very busy though. I was pretty much the only customer. The chamango was delicious and different. At Neveria, chamango has mango chunks in 2 flavors of ice cream, spicy or non spicy, and sprinkled with flavored salt. Like I said the chamango was delicious. I am not sure about the price of nine dollars and some change. A little pricey for me. The pineapple fruit drink was also pricey, 7 dollars and some change for a large drink. This is about the same price as a boba tea which I also think is pricey. It's a good store that sells good products. Is it worth the cost though? I am not entirely sure. I'll come back but it's not going to be often, a little expensive.

This was an amazing stop on our trip in OKC. The staff was very nice and answered all our questions. The hot cheeto elote with crema and cheese was AMAZING and huge! We also tried the chicken and avocado quesadilla and it was delicious. I will be coming back here when in town.

I went in at 8:33pm on 3/27/24 and the lady at the counter with light brown hair & was pudgy was so rude, unprofessional & racist. She got mad at me because I didn't know Spanish. Like, okay, this is still USA, and you're mad because I don't know Spanish? I order at Mexican restaurants all the time & I don't only have to speak Spanish, so what's the problem? I told her, "Can I have 2 Mangonadas, and 1 no Chamoy?" She gave me an attitude, turned around & grabbed 2 frozen mango slushie thing? I don't know what they were & they weren't even filled up to the top, so I don't know what was going on? I SAID MANGONADAS. How hard was comprehending Mangonadas and no chamoy? Ugh! I WILL NEVER RETURN. So my daughter & I went to Bahama Buck's instead and ordered Mangonada sno-cones there

Being pregnant, it's sometimes hard to find something to drink that doesn't have caffeine and first thought was let's get agua frescas! Small little shop in a strip mall. We ended up going around 1:30 on a Sunday and it was super busy - almost didn't have the ability to sit because of how many people were coming in. I ended up ordering the mango agua fresca. My husband ordered the melon. The mango was just okay. Very subtle mango flavoring and not too sweet which is fine. His melon agua fresca though was delicious and refreshing. I also ordered a medium elote en vaso which was very parmesany and creamy which was great - only problem is that there was not any hot sauce or chili powder which is what I'm used to adding for additional flavor. This was why it's 4 stars instead of 5. Once we got home, added some Tajin which made the flavors so much better. My husband ordered a Michigan hot dog which had chili, cheese, onions and mustard. He liked it. Overall, great little place for some hardcore snacks. Definitely not for a full on meal.

My family decided to grab some Mexican street food. We've seen tons of pics of this place so thought we'd give it a shot. Tons of choices but I loved how they had pictures of what each thing was. I'm all about pictures if I'm not sure what I'm getting myself into. Disclaimer: I'm not an expert on Mexican street food. I've only had a few things and only a handful of times. We got the Elote Entero, Chilindrina, Chamango, and Fresca de Creme. Elote tasted great! It's a fam favorite so no surprises there. The Chilindrina and Chamango were new to us. We liked the Chilindrina but we're a little on the fence about pickled pig skin. I can't say we'll have a craving to eat it again but we did finish what we got. Chamango - sweet, salty, sour and slightly spicy. We were pleasantly surprised. Tried to imagine what it would taste like before we got there but we actually enjoyed the flavor explosion. It hits all your taste buds at once. Fresca de Creme was literally dessert. Since we have nut allergies in our family, they omitted the granola just incase but it tastes like cream, strawberries, ice cream, and whipped cream. Yum! Service was great. It's during COVID season so no seating inside but they were wearing a mask which I appreciate. We placed our order and sat back in our car until they called us. It's a small joint, nothing fancy but they definitely attract crowds. There seemed to be a constant stream of people. We're slowly branching out and trying new flavors. I'd say this was a great start.

Love this place. Wish I would have found it sooner. Great drinks, ice cream, and elote! They're practicing good COVID precautions and the staff is always very nice

All the knock-off Disney shit is gone now -- and I had thought it was really fun in a totally kitschy way.Now it's mostly Kohls' quality made in China religious kitsch on the walls. (The owners must be wayyyyyy religious. I don't really care. Their ice cream is still freakin' DELICIOUS. They can worship stoned out monkey gods on Mars for all I care as long as they keep churning out really good f*cking ice cream!)The sliced mangos with chile, lime, and salt are as delicious as ever, by the way -- that's what I had on my last trip.I do not know if the flan here is homemade, but it's seriously good, as well.P.S.: TRY THE CHILE CUCUMBER PALETAS. OhMahGAH

You'd think I'd be exaggerating if I claimed that this place prepares the best elotes in the city.. but truth be told, I am not. I don't know what it is, but their elotes just taste amazing. Also, their mango ice cream is fantastic! Seating is quite limited, but the business is compact at the same time.If you love Doritos, cheese, and corn.. I recommend the dori-loton!

Best strawberry agua fresca I've ever had! The ladies that work here are lovely. Stop here every time I'm craving a treat.
