We were traveling from Seattle to see the eclipse and looking for some vegetarian food in OKC, both my husband and I love mushrooms so thought we would try this place. We were a little worried when we got there but wow was the food excellent. These folks know how to fry some tasty mushrooms and they tasted better than any fried chicken I have had! BUT the star of the show was the fried Jalapeno chips. Those things were fantastic. We were so hungry we ate and never got a pic. lol if you like mushrooms and fried chicken, try them!

Flavors were fire Nice crunch to them but just not thick enough. I realize they are made from oyster mushrooms, but for the price, I feel they should give more wings considering the "meat" is so thin. Also, I would love to see the entrance to the place be cleaned up a little better.

We absolutely love trying new vegan places. This place was so yummy! The service was great and the ambiance was interesting. If you come here for the first time, it is in the back of a converted school, which houses lots of lovely people, who were extremely helpful in finding the place. Drive to the back of the building and enter through the far left door. You will see the counter on the right. Ring the bell and the magic happens. We live in Chicago but we already plan to come back!

their name is now 'the vegan capital' yet multiple menu items are not vegan and not labeled as such. i feel disgusted that i unknowingly paid for and ate dairy products ate a 'vegan' restaurant. the owner was extremely rude and unapologetic about it instead blaming me for not asking before i ordered. i would not give them your business.
