The food was decent. Freshly prepared and somewhat tasty. A little pricey on some things.

This place is a must! The family of this establishment are the sweetest, and so easy to work with. My father had them cater for his clinic, and the food was a huge hit. We had fried chicken, meatloaf, yams, cornbread stuffing with gravy, and the macaroni and cheese. The sweet tea was the real thing and they even let us borrow nice treys and pitchers for the lunch. I love that it is a family run business and their son is one of the cooks. They cook with love and you can taste it. This place is truly a hidden gem! Thank you for blessing Lawton with amazing food and the best yams I've ever had! I forgot to get pictures but I will next time!

I personally have not ate here and never will. My mother came in last Sunday to get a dinner for her and my step father. The lady working was extremely rude to her when she asked what sides was available for the day and proceeded to give nasty attitude as my mom was curious about the menu. We've always heard this is a place for good soul food unfortunately that wasn't the case when she got her plates. If you want bbq chicken , stuffing and bread for dinner this is a great place for you. Do better .

We just left GG's and I was not feeling the atmosphere. For $10.99 the catfish dinner consisted of ONE piece of catfish. For sides, my husband ordered greens and dressing. The catfish was breaded lightly, which we loved. However we will not pay that price for the amount of fish we received in our plate. The dressing was great!! The greens, however, tasted like they might be out of the can. The chicken wings were okay but I wouldn't continue to pay the prices for mediocre. I'll stick to Sams.

I used to eat here a lot one day a server was telling us how the owner keeps all the tips. I never went back, the foods good but I cant support a business thats like that. Also the server said she only makes minimum wage as well so after that I just decided I never wanted to go back. Idk how true the claim is though so dont quote me this is just my opinion

Ordered the Sunday Baked Chicken dinner with mac and cheese (available only on Sundays) and collard greens along with corn bread. Also ordered the 7-Up cake for dessert. Ordered take out. Everything was sooo good: chicken was juicy and flavorful, the mac and cheese was the real homemade stuff and I wished I had ordered two portions. Never had eaten collard greens before but they were also just as delicious. The serving portion of the cake was enough for two people but I managed to cram the whole thing in my pie (cake?) hole and went to bed with a happy tummy. I was sad to learn they were closed on Mondays, as I would have returned. Mrs. GG was welcoming and helped guide me with my choices. If I ever return to Lawton, I'm definitely coming back!!!

Smothered pork chop and cornbread dressing oooo soooo good! Very clean place and sweet staff.

Best southern comfort food I have found in the area! The catfish dinner and fried chicken dinner were delicious. Cornbread is moist, and the sweet tea is just right. The owner is amazing, she will make you feel like family.

If yall from down south like me and looking for some GOOD southern soul food, yall need to GET HERE NOW!! Food was 10/10,service was amazing, and staff was so friendly with great attitudes. My family and I will DEFINITELY be back.

I called on Thursday and Mrs. GG informed me that she would be open Friday at 1100-7:00 .I showed up at 4:10pm and they were closed . The son informed me that Mrs. GG was not in and he didn't know when she would be back .They are never open when they say they will be . This location is too far to come from post and be disappointed that they are not open . Also they never answer the phone .
