Signed up for their service. It seemed great for normal day to day. Their product did work well. Then after a few months a sales rep tells us we have termites. Wanted about 2K for service to prevent them. Terminix gave us a second opinion and there were NO termites at all. I called to cancel after the lies and they charged me 200 dollars to get out of my contract after lying. Whatever.

First off Josh from moxie deserves a raise! He was very respectful and explained things very well. He even texted when he was one house away, and when I had to delay for an hour they were totally understanding and on time. He sprayed so much stuff around the house that I'm pretty sure all of are bugs are going to the neighbors house. The only downside is the price and the fact your locked into a 4 month contract and should you break it you have to pay for the remaining months. However I'm big on first impressions and customer service and this guy did phenomenal!

We had a salesperson named Tyler come to my neighborhood tonight. He presented with numerous false claims about my current pest company that I love. I am super pregnant and was super hot and wanted to go inside but he wouldn't take no for an answer. I told him over and over that we are happy with our current service and his service didn't offer anything new and he continued to ask "what service would you like to sign up for today?" He commented on the mounds of dirt in my garden bed that I created when I was doing yard work. Sorry I have a super big belly and I wasn't able to complete the job. It's 9pm and he is still knocking on doors! I've never had a service company be so pushy and inconsiderate. It honestly seemed like a scam to me. He also did not have a business card which was super weird.

I'm not convinced these guys ever did anything unless I called them back out a second time.When I would call them out a second time, the bugs would finally go away for awhile.When I finally got tired of dealing with calling them a second time, I found that cancelation is nearly impossible.After spending 6 months calling, emailing, and more, I've managed to get most things canceled, but I still get a random bill every so often.

Updated review Moxie called after i posted this review on Google, yelp, and 2 BBB Complaints against Moxie Pest Control LLC and Moxie Pest Control LP. Moxie did not mention the reviews but did reverse the 150$ charge. For that i'll bump them to a 2. I appreciate them reversing the charge, but i do not like that this has taken 3 calls and me posting 4 public complaints before i get anything handled. Sticking people into contracts when you are not holding your end of the deal is not the right thing to do. I appreciate you correcting your mistake.----Moxie came to my home and performed 3 services, after the firstservice i noticed for the first time a mouse in my house that i wasable to get rid of (without moxies help) and i noticed i was gettingmore ants than ever before in my yard. So i asked moxie to comeand they sprayed again, to which i noticed my yard gettingWORSE again. Moxie comes out again, final service. This timesame thing, i have paid in full up until that point no issues. I callmoxie again and tell them i want to swap services because theirservice wasn't working for me. Then they tell me I'm beingcharged a early termination of a 1 year contract a fee that was150$ and if i had just gotten 1 more service with them would'veinstead only cost me 100$?Business is shady i refuse to pay this150$ they are trying to charge 1.5% on top of that 150$ everymonth if i don't pay it too. Absolutely not i will not be forced intopaying for a terrible service. I swapped companies and within theVERY FIRST SERVICE of the other company I've noticedabsolutely no issues. I called moxie to dispute these charges 2months ago, at that point i told them the same thing quitcontacting me, your service did not work. Please show me in theservice agreement where it said Moxie can pretend to spray myyard with some magical spray that is apparently useless, andnever actually help me get my yards pest problem under control.I bet it doesn't say that. Do not contact me again. Do not expectme to ever pay this 150$ For any consumer thinking of buying them. These guys are some grade A car salesman they make theirproduct sound great then leave you hanging when they donothing for you. We have been customers for a few years, we pay for multiple services and we have a bad gnat problem, I asked if someone could please come out today or tomorrow and of course it's going to be 4-5 days. Their service is crap. I do not recommend them.

These people need pest control to control their trolling neighborhoods. They come by my house today 3 times...!!! The first 2 times I ignored the man ringing my doorbell. The third time my husband had just come home from work and had parked his car in our driveway. The same guy came up on his sedgeway and approached my husband who was trying to get groceries out of his car. I was sitting in the breakfast room but we have cameras all around our house so I could see from my cell phone what was going on. I immediately got up from the breakfast table and went to the front door to confront him. My husband is more polite than me but I reminded him that he had already knocked on my door twice before. I told him that I chose not to answer the door hoping he would GO AWAY...!!He had the gall to say "hi ma'am ". I told him to "piss off" and get away from my house. My husband then proceeded to walk around him with groceries in hand to get into our house. These people have no shame and must be desperate. He better not ever show up at our house again.This is beyond pathetic...!!!

I really want to like this company but their service has gone downhill IMO these past few months. I have continuously had their services since purchasing my home four years ago and things were good. Within the past several months, I have noticed more bugs and spiders than ever before!!! What changed?! I will say that they are good about coming out for a reservice between quarterly treatments but at this point, something is not working. I would hate to cancel my service but it's looking like I will have to due to the decline in treatment.

We got there quarterly package for bug extermination, first time they went out everything went well, they were a few hours late but that would be the only thing I can complain about the first time they went out. A few months pass and it's time for the second time for them to go out, I had told them I can only do saturdays or after 4pm during the week. They had given me a Saturday for my appointment but here comes Wednesday and they send me another text telling me they'll be out there on Thursday so I had replied telling them that I already had my appointment for the coming Saturday, well they reply saying sorry for the confusion but there's no availability this Saturday. So we end up rescheduling for the following Saturday. So here we are next Saturday and I get a text saying they won't be able to make it to my house because the tech called in, which I completely understood!!! So we rescheduled again!! This time for a Wednesday after 4!!!! So here come this Wednesday and it's 7:40am ( I'm not home because I work mornings) so I get a text telling me they are one stop away from my house, so I text them saying I had an appointment after 4pm that I wasn't home at the time! So it took them about 40 minutes to 1 hour to reply telling me sorry for the confusion we can reschedule you for another day after 4pm!! So I tell them okay but just letting you know this would be the 4th time you guys reschedule me so what's going on?!? Another 40 minutes pass and they reply telling me that it was all a misunderstanding that turns out that a tech actually did go to my house and spray the outside of the house, that if I needed go to get the inside sprayed that they can schedule that for another day when I'm home..... well luckily I have cameras all around my house and NO ONE EVER SHOWED UP TO SPAY MY HOUSE!!!! So they're just lying to me now! So I reply asking them what time did they go because I have cameras and no one ever showed up!! Well that got their manager to text me telling me it was AGAIN all a misunderstanding that she talked to the technician and he did NOT spray my house, but she can schedule me for the next week! It took them about 2-3 weeks for try and go out to my house, and when the day comes after the 4th time rescheduling they lie about them going to my house a spraying!!! Horrible customer service and dishonest managers and workers!!!
