MNTC has always provided quality education for the kids and adults alike. My family member has returned to get a certificate to help improve their current career path. It's been a positive experience so far and look forward to the consistency of it being a good experience.

A particular teacher here does not really... teach he tells you to ask the right questions and then he will help you. He picks on students that he apparently doesn't like. Rather than teach he tells you to use google to find things out. Someone needs to turn this place in for employing teachers like this. Unfair and uneducated teachers in this school makes Oklahoma look bad and shows nothing but lack of concern for our future.

This school is amazing! The faculty and staff are dedicated to the success of the students and community. They offer so many opportunities at a low cost. So many resources for people to train for jobs, get help with resume writing, open up a new business, gain/improve skills, or just take a cooking class. I know of teachers who come in on the weekends in order to help students prepare for contests, interviews etc. Staff has pulled together to donate suits and interview "clothes" for students who need it. Adult students looking for career changes have lots of classes from which to choose. Businesses ask Moore Norman to develop and implement training for them. This place is outstanding!

Growing up I was always told that college was the ONLY option to be successful. I was told wrong. The careers of tomorrow are not in Philosophy, Literature, or Political Science. Nursing, Sonography, Computer Programming, Cyber Defense, Computer Aided Drafting and Design, and CNC Machining are the careers that will continue to grow.I wish I had gone to Moore Norman because they fully support their students, which is why over 95% of their students either work in their field or continue onto college for career-specific degrees.

America has been cast into the ravages of economic hardship. Millions have been out of work for extended periods of time, many of which have been unemployed for a few years. Savings have been erased, and countless lives have been thrown into despair. Corporate greed and excess have been brought to the forefront, pitting those struggling to survive against the titans of industry who sleep comfortably in luxury at the expense of their workers. Uncaring and out-of-touch governments have adopted the "let them eat cake" philosophy, cutting need to those who need it most, while garnering support of locals to find economic scapegoats. As they fiddle while Rome burns, the nation has been thrown into turmoil, tension and uncertainty...But, hey! Don't let that ruin your day!!!Having exceeded one year of unemployment myself, and sending in my resume to receive (in descending order of frequency):1) A void from which I would hear nothing back 2) A generic, corporate rejection (which oddly enough was worded the same by every company)3) An interview, which went nowhereSurely, it HAD to be the economy and not me... right? Nope, wrong. Something about me wasn't right, and I questioned that. What I did was evaluate the jobs for which I was applying to see what they all had in common (outside of the qualifications I did have) and see what I could do to remedy the situation through self-improvement.My biggest problems were in technological proficiency, and I found out that I needed to acquire some new skills. I did some research and settled on Moore Norman Technology Center to take the classes I needed. What I needed was an accelerated program. They had two options: in-person or online. The in-person program wasn't nearly as frequent as the online program, and took the same amount of time. I opted for the online program so that I could started, because if I hadn't, at this time I still wouldn't have been able to start the program because the class hasn't started yet. Online can be a little frustrating, but the teachers are available (via a group discussion board) and they were quite thorough. On top of that, the classes are incredibly reasonable in price. The people I spoke to on the phone were knowledgeable, informative and courteous as well. There are some disadvantages though. You can't email the teachers with questions, and have to rely on the discussion board only. They have something about computer labs on campus that can complicate matters. The program I needed costs $1600 and they don't have it on their computers at school, so I had to spring for the program. Ouch. Luckily I was able to get a great discount. You can't beat $1300 off the price. After I took what I needed, I took another class just to polish my resume a bit more. I will say that after taking these classes, I found a job rather quickly, so I believe I acquired enough of the skills needed to find work. In sum: if you can manage taking classes, I would strongly recommend browsing their catalog.

I went to attend this year at MNTC to be filled with disappointed, but maybe it was the class I choose. I was in cybersecurity program with a teacher named Mrs. Millican, If you're an adult looking for cybersecurity program, this is not the one or at least the first year, I spent half the year with no teacher & when she did come in, we would go over maybe 5-10 page slides & that would be all the teaching she would do for the whole day, & she would sit at her desk, on her phone & do her own school work while she had 18 kids to teach by the time the end of the semester rolled around, 3 out of the 18 students passed the core 1. Overall MNTC cybersecurity is abysmal, you sit front on a computer watching several 10 mins video, with no teacher because she didn't know or how to engage with us, no hands on learning. There's a reason Oklahoma is ranked 49th in edu & unfortunately this class proved why.

Honestly I never thought how amazing my experience with MNTC would be. From the moment I stepped into the CADD class until my last steps out it was amazing. John Means is hands down one of the most amazing teachers I have had the privilege of learning from. I wouldn't be were i am in my career without the help from him.. Amazing teachers, staff and students. Definitely my favorite years!

I have been a teacher at MNTC for the past 15 years, and it is truly the best place to work. My directors have faith in me and trust me to do my job. They have encouraged and supported me as I earned my National Board Teaching Certification and my Master's Degree. MNTC supports and encourages professional development that will help me grow in the graphic design field and as a teacher. My son also attends MNTC in the entrepreneurship program and is so excited to learn things that are applying to his future goals as a business owner. I am constantly recommending friends to apply for jobs at Moore Norman and enroll in classes!
