We hired Monticello Cabinets & Doors when our house was just studs. Mark and his team had a very difficult job on their hands. The end result is magnificent! We have high gloss cabinets in every room that are perfect. He also built all of our doors. There are many special features including a hidden silverware drawer; the drawers and cabinets doors are all soft close.Mark also assisted us with finding the best contractors to finish out the plumbing and electrical work, he has many resources. Be sure you are sure of the services for which you are paying. A contractor referred me to Monticello Cabinets. Mark charged me 1500.00 fee applicable to the purchase of cabinets. He then went to work creating a budget, pricing lighting, appliances, labor. Additionally, he did a rendering that was never accurate and failed to tell me the cabinets alone were $15,000 before he did "hours of work", none of which I requested. I took the renderings to a well known architect in town who said the renderings were max worth $350. which he stated was "being generous". When I told Mark I didn't want to spend $15,000. on cabinets, he told me he was giving me a "good deal" and he could sell me some cabinets that would last 2-3 years if that was want I wanted. He charged me over $1200. and I received nothing but a rendering I could have done on an app. I went in asking for cabinets, nothing more and came out with a bill for over $1200. I highly recommend getting things in writing. I definitely did not get what I paid for. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. I am not new to remodeling. This is my 14th remodel and have never encountered a situation like this. An expensive lesson.

Terrible installation, customer service and shady business practices. I can not even begin to share what an awful product they "install". The installation was an experience I would not hope any other customer would have to go through, I have drawers that won't close and then some that I can't open, chipped edges during install then used a magic marker to try to hide defective pieces. Un even spaces between cabinets.
