MJ’s Grill

The restaurant doesn't provide any information on the origin of their name, but for me I can't help but recall "Mother, Jugs and Speed." And if you know what that is (without Googling it) you are freaking old.Mother Jug's Grill is easy to find. Located on the main drag through town, Highway 62. The food is excellent, the service is wonderful and could not be more friendly. I was delighted with the food and the warm welcoming feeling from the staff. It is a motorcycle themed grill (décor), a full café/diner menu, breakfast through lunch. My wife spotted their Indian Taco and I had a Cheeseburger. Today is 9/18/2024, National Cheeseburger Day. What else would I have ordered, duh! The Indian Taco was fantastic, covered with fresh ground beef and salad on a fresh hot Indian fry bread. My Cheeseburger a thick juicy hand formed patty grilled perfectly and dressed correctly with L,T,P,O & M, hold the mayo and ketchup. Delicious with the side of onion petals (like pieces of a blooming onion if you have ever eaten at an Outback restaurant).Friendly café in a clean historic Oklahoma town. A destination drive, for food and the beautiful informative Seminole Nation Museum, which is packed with art and history. Gas up the car or bike, and see what Wewoka Oklahoma has to offer.

We stopped here for lunch on a trip through Wewoka and were so impressed with the food and service. We both had the chicken fried steak sandwich, mine with onion rings and my husband with fries. Delicious! There is nothing to be improved on! We ended with the coconut cream pie and it was perfect! Hard to find good pie like that anymore. We will definitely come back the next time we're in Oklahoma.

I've had to travel to Wewoka twice for work and have stopped here each time. It's the busiest parking lot in town, but don't turn away because they can accommodate a lot of people. They have daily specials and fantastic iced tea. I've eaten both breakfast and a burger. Each was great. The pies at the front look amazing, but I've been trying to avoid them.The service is always good and the food is yummy. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the pimento cheese burger was excellent. The only thing I didn't like were my side of brown beans that were mostly broth and bacon. The iced tea makes up for any other little issues.

Great little country diner. The chicken fried steak special was just perfect. Steak was tender and cooked perfectly. Covered in just the right amount of gravy. Staff was friendly and attentive

I had a delicious burger with French fries. Service was good. It's not a fancy place but I would go back there for sure. They had lots of homemade desserts that we did not try but they looked tasty.

The food tasted so amazing. My favorite is the bacon cheeseburger, the service there was amazing. So friendly the waitress I have was right on top of everything. I loved the atmosphere in there.

Great lunch spot. I've had the BLT, the club sandwich & the Frito chili pie. The burgers look good too. Friendly service and they are quick with the refills. I would recommend a side salad with their homemade ranch dressing too. Parking lot sometimes gets full at lunch in their new location.

Great food and fast service! The jalapeño cheeseburger was great, at well as the spicy pickle chips.

Great food! Great service! Haven't tried anything I haven't loved! Specials everyday or order off the menu - you won't be disappointed

Got there a little late, the grill was closed but the waitress was nice, served us coffee and some awesome pie. Will definitely stop by when in the area.
