Mitch Park

Great park with clean playground toys, excellent trails, and SO many pavilions to host outdoor events at. I used to play disc golf here and the course was great! Rant: I see too many ppl with their dogs off leashes. Not cool. I go full Karen mode when I see this.

The annual OBS Streak took place today! Fantastic weather! Clear blue skies, sunshine, and perfect bicycle riding temperatures!I chose the 25 mile as it was my first ride since June. Glad to be back on the bike!The rest stops were well stocked with fresh fruit, pickles, pickle juice and a variety of snack bars. Proceeds from the OBS Streak are used to provide helmets for kids who receive bikes from the Salvation Army Buck$ 4 Bikes program at Christmas time.

Love this park! Great places to walk and play areas for kids. The one we went to today had balance beams, rock wall, toddler swings

I've been to this park many times for the walking trails (which are superb) recently there is a lot of construction at the park. I've also been here for the Christmas light walking trails and the ice rink which are great in the winter months. Today, I'm here for a baseball game. It's windy and sooooo humid not a good time for me but I'm here! The park has a lot of activity, so lots of people and cars. It's a clean , safe park environment. Baseball, basketball, soccer or walking .. this park service is adjacent to YMCA.. great location!

As sold as I am on Mitch Park for its baseball facilities, there are a couple of things that keep it from getting 5 stars. 1) We are usually there to watch T-Ball, and those fields are SO FAR from the concession stand and restrooms. 2) There isn't much shade from the sun. Mitch is great for so many reasons. There are so many things to do there. Thank goodness a T-Ball game is only a hour long. . . .

This is a beautiful park! It has something for everyone. There's walking trails that are paved and not paved, a skate park, gazebos for a picnic get together, a disc golf course, fields to run around in, playgrounds, and even a very modern and nice YMCA in the middle of the park. The paved trail around this park is excellent. If you do the entire loop around the perimeter of the park, the loop is about 3 miles. Most of the trail is peaceful and quite enjoyable as it meanders through the trees and over the stream. There is a small portion that follows a main road...but not for long. If you need an afternoon to enjoy the outdoors, take your family here and explore!

Great spot for walking, very clean. Long route to walk my dog that took just under an hour.

I love Mitch Park! They have a walking and biking trail. My husband and I go here often with our dog Penny to walk/jog their trail. We take the long trail with hills and it leads into beautiful scenic areas with trees, bunnies, and a little creek. They also have a skateboarding area, a YMCA, ballpark, and play areas. I absolutely love that they have water fountains along the trail with an attached mini fountain for dogs. Our little Penny knows her way around the park and walks a little faster when she knows we are approaching a water fountain so she can quench her thirst. The fountain on the north side of the park often overflows and Penny purposely lays down and rolls around in the water to cool off. It makes me laugh! I love it here!

Love this park! It always feels safe, is clean, and has a variety of activities to do.
