Big park with lots to see! My husband and I went to play disc golf with our pup and enjoyed it dearly. It's a little bit of a hike to play, but definitely a must-try for some minor adventure over the weekend.18 holes total. Hole 1 is off of Santa Fe just passed W. Covell. You will see a smaller side entrance into the park right next to a large pavilion. You can't miss it!

I am a pretty active discgolfer and have played quite a few courses. This is definitely at the top of my list for courses in the okc area. It is not for beginners though. There are a lot of trees and wooded areas to lose discs in and the course isn't marked very well. If you get here and can't find your way around, there are usually local golfers that can help you. That being said, there are a lot of terrain changes and obstacles to make for a fun game. Even though there isnt a map to look at it's not too difficult to make your way through the course and they are making it easier all the time with new signage. Mitch Park is huge, so when you get to it pull into the West entrance off of Covell. Follow the street to the back left and park in the circle parking by the Kids Playground. From here, 18's basket and Hole 1 teepad is located behind the large pavilion..away from the circle parking. There is a board that will tell you what pin position the course is on and from there you will see how nice the course is. Have fun and ask for help if you need it. There are usually plenty of friendly people out there, most will let you play with them if you ask. There are also a few out of the way benches around the course and away from the walking trails...to get back to nature.

I love love LOVE going to Mitch Park to play frisbee golf. It is a great way to spend time with the family and play a super fun game together. I highly recommend going to Mitch Park to hang out and hike, and play one of my favorite games there is to play with the family. There is 18 holes. Some of them are close to the road and near a pond but it is still really cool. One time when I was playing there with my family, it was my dad's turn at then course near the road. He threw his frisbee and it went straight and then across the road. He went to get it by going under a tunnel to the other side. He had to go near someone's property which he didn't feel very comfortable with. But, may I say going frisbee golf with the family and some friends is one of the best bonding times and then most fun way to play and spend time with the family.
