Mister Lu Chinese Restaurant

Mister Lu, you have some work to do. I ordered take out this evening. Also, new to the area, so I'm trying various places and next time I have a Chinese craving I will probably try the next spot in town. We ordered the Dragon meets Phoenix (General Tsos & Shrimp w/ mixed veggies) and another order of General Tso's. Both came with white rice and were ready within 15 minutes. The shrimp was pretty fishy tasting and the chicken was just ok. Flavorful, but didn't have the crispiness or spiciness I am used to. I have a feeling they just pulled these items off their buffet. They did give us plenty of food for under $20, so that was probably the best thing of today's experience. Overall, edible but I probably won't be back anytime soon.

Was not impressed. Mediocre food at best and not cheap. Egg drop soup tasted weird-almost a plastic taste. I hate to give a bad review but I call it like I taste it! There were four of us who ordered different dishes and none of them were completely consumed or saved for leftovers. Very disappointing.

Great family restaurant for Chinese buffet. We were here for #NLBRA rodeo finals at the #LazyE and broke away for dinner. We called ahead and they set aside tables for our group of 12. Pros:- Courteous and helpful staff- Family friendly- Good food & selection - Reasonably priced & includes dessert Cons:- No fresh vegetables & few choices with vegetables - Hot & sour soup was unusual - Well, it is a buffetBottom Line: Good spot for a family dinner in Guthrie!

the food is pretty good, not a very big selection though. the service is good, we got drink refilled often. the ambiance is lacking, the music is very quiet so if your coming here with your friends you are gunna feel a little awkward.

Hot and sour soup and fried fish were pretty good, but nothing on the buffet, except the soup, was even lukewarm. After putting a crab leg on my plate, I saw the sign saying crab is $4 extra. Definitely not worth it. Very small legs with almost no meat, and what there was had no taste.

Ordered takeout. We ordered general tso chicken, chicken lo mein, fried rice, egg rolls, and spring rolls. Everything tastes like rotten shrimp. Tried calling to talk to someone and no answer, however they did call back and to the best I could understand is it's because they cook everything together. I repeat. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

I took the family for lunch on a Sunday. The food was hot and constantly coming out of the kitchen. The crab and shrimp were pretty good and my kids loved trying to crack the crab legs. The service was great, especially because our family of twelve all wanted the buffet. The drinks were always topped off and the servers were waiting for us to finish our plates and they would come over and take them for us right away. The ambience of the restaurant was a little weird, they had soda bottles in random spots and a table in front of the register with Knick Knacks for sale, I suppose, but no sign and no prices. I gave it four out of five stars because the restaurant needs tidied up a bit.

‼So my husband brought home a to-go box from here and started eating it when he realized there was what looks like a cockroach. I am in no way trying to angry shame this business... but this is a major safety hazard and you should take a second look before you take a bite. They need a serious sanitation and health inspection.‼

overcharged us... was a $55.75 ticket for 3 people. The sign at the front says that lunch is $10.99 per person, but they said that Sunday lunch does not apply to that rate (what?) and that there is an additional 3.99 charge per person because of the crab legs they supposedly offer now, but this was not disclosed beforehand. drinks were also $3/person. overall, terrible service. we felt uncomfortable the entire time we were eating there and like we were being watched and stared at by the staff. Whenever I politely asked why we were being charged a different price than what was displayed at the front, she said that their Sunday buffet prices were more (again, why are they charging more on Sunday for the same selection of food?) Nevertheless, I will not be returning to this establishment again, and am still confused as to why they display prices that are different than what they actually charge per person. They also need to disclose that they are charging an additional cost for the crab offered in the buffet because this was a hidden cost that was definitely NOT worth it (crab legs were tiny and only 3 legs came out the entire time we were there). Do not eat here unless you want overpriced shitty chinese buffet loll

By far the worst experience I've had with any restaurant. I had put in an online order, upon paying for my order and getting to my car I check my To-go box. It wasn't the item I had ordered. I went back inside to let them know that I received the wrong order or there was some kind of mistake. Mr.Lu and who I'm assuming was his wife began to get very aggressive telling me that it was my fault and they could do nothing for me because the food was already cooked. I wanted the food I ordered but after seeing how aggressive they were I just requested a refund, they started saying how they already made the food so they wouldn't do a refund (it was one dinner that was a total of $10). After them saying the same stuff over and over again about how it was my fault and that they couldn't do a refund, they finally processed my refund and told me (you no come back) most unprofessional experience I've ever had from a business owner.
