We had great service from Minter and Sons after our AC motor blew over Labor Day weekend. We called on Saturday evening and they came out on Sunday morning to check our unit. Initially things seemed ok, but later on Sunday evening the unit stopped working and our house was heating up pretty quickly. We have 2 young kids, and they weren't able to sleep. We called back and Will came out last minute around 7p and replaced the motor for a price we thought was fair! Our A/C is working great now and actually cooling the house even better than before. Will was straight forward, quick, and fair. We really appreciate how quickly he came out and remedied the issue.

Jason with Minter and Sons was great! Gave me no BS information about my system and solutions to issues I was having with our system. I am set up on their seasonal program for tuning and inspection. These are a great group of HVAC professionals and I appreciate their type of service and personal approach to business.

Well this is probably the worst company I've ever used in my life. DO NOT use Minter and Sons. They had a service tech come out who was BEYOND rude. Then come to find out the woman who scheduled my service scheduled me for the wrong thing. When I called back to explain why I was upset the owner got on the phone and proceeded to be the stupidest man I've ever talked to in my life. No matter how many times I explained to him that the service that was scheduled was not what I had asked for, he just kept saying over and over and over and over "the Order just says tune and clean." I'm like bro, I don't work for you, I have no idea what the order says or what your employees wrote down, that information was not conveyed to me or I would have explained further what I was wanting. I'm so frustrated at this point and trying really hard to keep my cool. The frustration is apparent and so his 'sane' response is to ask me if I'm ok and tell me that I'm being mean. I'm like dude, is this seriously how you're going to talk to me and think that I'm going to continue business with y'all? I didnt drop the ball, your employees did. BIG TIME. So I ask him, who are you? What is your position in the company and he's like, oh I'm the owner. Well Minter, your son Jason is a much better businessman than you are and maybe you should literally never speak to clients. So long story short, they suck, their customer services sucks, their employees are useless and I will be finding a new heating and air company today. -50/10 would NOT recommend this company.UPDATE: the owner of the business called my father, not me, to ask to take the review down. He kept saying my dad made the appt (he didn't), then he asked me why I had written so many reviews. Like what does that have to do with anything? Seriously. I told him that if he didn't like negative reviews maybe he shouldn't talk to people the way he did to me. Then he says, "well I do work for your parents and they're happy." Again, I'm not my parents, they didn't hire you for my house, I did, and I am absolutely not ok with him calling my father to handle this rather than to speak to me. Is this guy for real?

No complaints here. Seem to be honest, and technicians do well explaining and getting job done. Had a bad contactor (arch welded closed and I saw it was), replaced, worked great for few weeks then had a different issue with compressor intermittently starting up. Called them back out and I was with the tech and found a wire insulation deteriorated with bare wire. Tech replaced wire and unit runs great, and no charge for repair or follow up call. I am impressed with their service and have no complaints.I would recommend them.

We had great service from Minter and Sons today. We called to tune and check our units. They just seemed to be running alot and not keeping up. Hayden showed up and patiently cleaned and throughly checked our units. . They price was more than fari and our A/C units are working great now and actually cooling the house even better than before. Hayden did a great Job and really appreciated all of his efforts! I definitely will be calling them back!

I had them scheduled to come between 12p and 2pm and at 1:22p I received a phone call that I unfortunately was not able to answer immediately. I listened to the voicemail asking if someone was home (which yes, they were!) and called the number right back, WITHIN 4 minutes after receiving the first call and the rude man on the phone informed me that they already sent that technician to another job and that I would have to wait another two hours for service. I could not believe that they didn't wait even a few minutes for a callback before moving on. He was awful to deal with and I WILL NEVER CALL THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING EVER AGAIN! You should NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Do not recommend at all!!! Horrible customer service.

I've used this company for years. I had a really messed up system, they helped me make due with it for years. I finally did replace it and have a wonderful American Standard system that they put in. They do stand behind their work. I recommend this company for your hvac needs.

Minter & Sons have been servicing my HVAC system for many years.This year, however, they don't seem to be able to fix the problem.A technician has been here twice this week, but it is still warm inmy house. It was 82 degrees at 11:30 pm last night and it is 78 degrees this morning before 8:00 am. The thermostat remains set at 74 degrees.It hasn't gotten down to 74 degrees all week.I assumed he checked the Freon, so I didn't ask. Maybe I should have!Saturday, August 11, 2018
