Lunch at radio Taco. They have done a nice job with the remodel of the old Louie's. It's a casual, fun venue. You order and pick up your food at the counter. We ordered chips and salsa and for $4.50, you can get a refill on the chips, but not the salsa. You want more salsa, you pay again. Not my style of chips, but they were ok. The salsa was good.Jan ordered two Carne Asada Tacos. They were very good. I ordered a fried shrimp taco, and it was delectable. I also ordered a Birra Taco. It was very greasy. When I took the first bite, the grease poured out.I,m glad Mexican Radio has come to mid-town it's a nice add to the restaurant scene.

The restaurant itself looks nice. It's spacious and completely different than the old Louie's that was there before. The food itself was meh. I ordered chips & guacamole to share. The chips were good. The guac was bland mashed avocado that tasted like it came out of a bag. Another in my party ordered chips & salsa to share. Again, chips = great. Salsa, bland, tasteless, watery. But did I mention the chips were great?Ok tacos...I had the Birria tacos. The tacos themselves were good, flavorful, but at almost $5 each a bit overpriced. The consume (broth) was bland tasteless greasy slop with bits of veggies in it. Usually the broth is what the meat is cooked in and has great flavor. In this case I find it hard to believe the meat in my tacos was cooked in this bland tasteless broth. My companion felt the same about their birria taco, and said the carne asada were just ok. My other companion said her California club taco was good.Overall it was an ok experience. Not one that left me feeling overwhelmed to return, though. Maybe during happy hour when I can try some drinks & lower priced food.

Great spot new location with a lot of seating. Outdoor seating was in a great spot. The Smash burger taco I had was really good and filling! The staff were friendly.

Amazing Mexican food and tacos! Alcoholic (margaritas, frozen drinks) and non-alcoholic beverages (Mandarin Jarritos, Topo Chicos). Great appetizers. The interior environs are also very stylish. You order at the counter but food gets brought out to you. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. This the same Mexican Radio that used to be in the Plaza District but closed and moved. The new Mexican Radio is slightly improved and a different concept! Check it out now at 1215 Walker (where Louie's used to be) - Highly recommended!

Although this place does not have table service, as you order from the counter, the food was amazing! The decor is cute. One whole wall was decorated with old cassette tapes. It was fun to look at them and see familiar ones. Servers brought our food out. There were 4 of us, we had shrimp tacos, Beira tacos, nachos, the pimento cheese empanadas with honey, a salad, and the dip trio. All were delicious and fresh! Not one critique! I can't wait to visit again. I don't understand the bad reviews on here. The service was super friendly and fast. The food was amazing. Price for 4 of us with one margarita and 3 soft drinks was around $100. Given food prices lately, I don't think that's bad. I highly recommend this place!

Counter service will never work at this location. People like the sit down dining experience. No one wants to get up and go to the counter and order another beer or cocktail every time someone needs one. The other location setup was perfect. Not sure why the owner would think this would ever work. If the food was amazing it might have a chance.

Yet another mediocre Mexican spot in OKC. Brunch for two was nearly $60, which seemed a little steep considering it's just basic tacos and a couple of options for bowls - and you're expected to pick up your food and bus your own table. The tacos were alright, but not markedly different or better than any of the other spots near midtown. The bowl was also pretty uninspiring, but got the job done. The queso and chips were probably the best part, but even those were about what you'd expect at any of the other dozen Mexican spots around. On the bright side, the location is great for walking around before or after a meal. The interior was very clean and the staff were kind. Parking was about as good as you can expect for midtown on a busy morning. If the prices were lower, this would probably be a 4-star spot for quick, decent bites at a good value. However, at nearly $5 per taco it leaves a lot to be desired. 2.5 stars for the food, an extra star for the cleanliness and staff, but overall there are much better options around

The food portions were small especially for the prices. A dip trio had 3 different dips and a tiny bowl of chips that were crumbs. They take lots of time to make it aesthetically pleasing but probably should use some of that time on the actual quality of the food. Drinks were strong but you have to stand in line, order and pay and so to get another drink you again had to go wait in a long line.

Nice location they moved to, but was a bit surprised when found out this location is an order from the counter set up vs the previous location as a sit down establishment. Food about the same, just a little overpriced. I've had better Tex-Mex at other places.
