Meat Locker BBQ

The brisket is sliced the wrong way. Supposed to be sliced across the grain, not with the grain. The hot links are good. Same with the potato salad and Mac and cheese. This isn't competition BBQ. Not even close. But for a small town it'll work.

What a phenomenal place to eat in Lindsay, Oklahoma! We stopped here to meet family and realized we'd never eaten here. We were so impressed!!The pulled pork grilled cheese was the special today. I loved it so much that I ordered an extra to go. The chopped brisket sandwiches were soooo good! My wife said their smoked green beans are possibly the best she's ever had. The Mac and cheese was delightful also.We are already excited for another meet up at the Meat Locker!!

Ordered a two meat combo. Sliced Brisket with hot links. Mac & cheese with some beans as the sides. Got the meal to go and headed home. Opened the box and was immediately disappointed. The "sliced brisket" looked like a piece of roast with huge chucks of fat attached to the sides. I've had a lot of bbq in my 60 years but nothing like that.The brisket was just not edible. Hot links were pretty decent, the Mac & cheese simply outstanding, beans are good if you like em hot with peppers ( I do). For the pricing I expect good food, in that respect the meat locker failed to deliver.

Inside dining or takeout are available from this modern country themed restaurant. Excellent barbecue! We had the beans and cider slaw which were a perfect accompaniment to our brisket and chicken. The pecan pie cobbler was yummy, but I would have tried the banana pudding, too, if we had had room! Super clean and well-tended!

This is a busy spot at lunchtime. The parking lot was packed and the food and service are the reason why. I depend on Yelp to find my next restaurant to try when working out of town. The turkey sandwich with bbq sauce was delicious and served quickly. Thanks Meat Locker.
