The food here is amazing. I had a breakfast dish that was hash browns with bacon, ham, sausage, onions, mushrooms and cheddar cheese. It was delicious. The young man who waited on us kept our drinks filled and was very attentive. The entire staff was constantly hustling. What a great place.

Came down for the weekend and visited both days in a row again. Service and food is always great and consistent. Great coffee and I got the fried pies to go because I was so full. They were delicious the next morning. The breakfast skillet meals is a lot of food and all great. One morning I had the omelet and a pancake instead of the side of bread. I was stuffed!

Breakfast is amazing! Went there two mornings in a row. Best biscuits and gravy anywhere!

We have eaten here many times after church on Sundays. Food is always great! My favorite is always breakfast for dinner!

On an impromptu road trip to Choctaw, Mead Family Restaurant was highly recommended by the hotel clerk, the cashier at the liquor store and the guy at the dispensary so we decided to give it a try and WOW!! The food was delicious and the waitress was so incredibly friendly! We had the chicken and rice soup (so good we got another bowl to go), the chicken fettuccine Alfredo was so creamy and full of flavor and my boyfriend said the patty melt was the best he's ever had. Very generous portions and really reasonable prices. We will definitely be back every time we go to Choctaw.

Small town, typical diner type place. It was a decent stop on a road trip, but I probably wouldn't make a special trip. We had a bacon avocado cheeseburger and chicken tenders. The cheeseburger was good -- better than the very overcooked tenders. Service was friendly and the place was full.

Chicken, fried steak and a fried pie!!!! service was excellent. Atmosphere was comfortable and I recommend the breakfast. They don't make anything that isn't good right down to the biscuits.

The food was great! My wife had the waffle, 2 eggs over easy with 4 strips of crisp bacon. The waffle was light & crisp, eggs were perfect with nice yolks. I had the "Okie 3-egg omelette" with crisp hash browns - just the way I like. The service was friendly & fast. Ambience was warm,well lit - the diner is very popular in the neighborhood. We'll be stopping by the next time we come thru.

Delicious food, large portions, friendly staff, very reasonable prices! They also have a wide selection of pies and fried pies for dessert, and are known for their Italian food!
