McSwain Theatre

Older FIRST RUN film theatre (I saw Mary Poppins, Jesus Christ Superstar, 007 Thunderball, Chariots of the Gods, and many more as a kid!)It has gone a MAJOR OVERHAUL renovation to restore the vaudeville-era stage, and re-incorporation of LIVE Fare and weekly 2nd Run/Vintage films. The seats are comfortable, and spacious. Aisles are wide and accessible. The decor is similar to the old style, while modern and attractive. (I Do miss the old Lobby carpet that once featured film reels and strips, and theatrical masks, ...Ah me.)The side, business buildings which was a Barber Shop, and shoe repair, were re-incorporated into sales salons and concession stands.The addition of the next property over, made great use for dressing rooms, prop shops...Etc.
