customer service at this location is HORRIBLE !! Nobody seems to know anything about their product you talk to multiple people and get multiple answers from the manager down to the sales persons. Their attitude towards customers is unacceptable like who's rude to a person who's coming in your establishment spending 3k cash smh! I live about 2 blocks away so the store was very convenient for me but never again i will drive the 30 minutes plus to other locations before i EVER purchase from this location again !!!!!! the choice is yours but don't recommend having Levi , Johnnie or Britt as a salesperson.

Been in the market for a new sofa recliner(over sized love seat). Decided to go check them out. We have pretty much bought all our furniture at Mathis Brothers so we checked out the Mathis home in Midwest city. I hate folks following us around so when I went in I told the young man, Brian, this and said we would come get him when we were ready. He really liked tht so we wondered around without followers and found a few. After deciding we hollered at Brian. The prices you see are member prices (139 dollars). If you are not a member the price goes up as does the cost of the delivery. So needless to say we are members. What it does get you is 20 dollars a month for a year to use in their bistro which is in the back and open to the public(1100-500ish). Will be another review later. The young man helping, Brian, was very professional and polite. They offer free delivery but tht consists of them dropping off the box at your door and you assemble. No thanks. Anyway it was a good stop.

I would never shop here. I was treated by one of the salesmen, and we told him that we were just burning time because we didn't want to be bothered by salesmen.just when we where walking away he ask if we would give our opinion on a product, and I said yes. To make it a short story he ended up dumping me off with a mattress guy that was really nice but I didn't need a mattress and he understood. I went back to find the guy that dumped me off to say what he did was really unprofessional, and he just laughed us off. I was a loyal Mathis customer for 22 years now I will never shop in there again.

Beautiful new store in our area. They have reasonable prices and some crazy. We had several different sales people come up to us and walk awhile with us. Not sure what was going on with that. We loved a couple of them but not so much the first one. It really makes a difference and I perfer clean cut look.We want to still go to main store to look to see if they have more options.

We were waiting on a dinner reservation and just wanted to kill time. We told the guy this when we walked in and his response was, " You look like you need a mattress." He proceeded to follow us around like we were criminals. I was so disgusted that we just walked out. Mathis Furniture put such a bad taste in my mouth, when I need furniture, I'll make sure I go somewhere else.

I really liked the selection here, the furniture is good and very comfortable, and they even deliver and assemble it for you. It's very good value. Cameron was very helpful in the selection process, he was able to show us furniture within our price range, and help us find pieces that matched our aesthetic quite well. I've heard the sales people are aggressive here, but my experience is quite the opposite, they were very accommodating and greatly facilitated finding furniture that matched our price range.

I always dread going into furniture stores because I don't really like shopping and always feel pressured but let me tell you, Derek and Levi were on top of it! From start to finish they were super educated, personable, and extremely helpful!! I definitely will be recommending them and the Midwest city location for anyone's furniture needs:)

The sales people will follow you the. entire. Time. You don't have to ask questions, because they'll give a bunch of unsolicited recommendations on every single product you pass while they're stalking you around the store. There are definitely some good looking pieces in the store, but having someone breathe down your neck makes shopping so unenjoyable that I don't think I would ever come back here to buy anything.

Decent stuff if you can bear them watching you like a hawk and god forbid you take a second look at a product because they won't leave you alone no matter what you tell them.

My fiancé and I came here to furnish our apartment and we got some great things. HOWEVER, the sales people do not leave you alone at all. They will follow you everywhere you go and chime in at any time about the product. It gets incredibly annoying and is extremely pushy. Also, they told us to go with the protection plan for our sectional which I believe is 20% of the item. Either way, it came out to around $550 for us. They told us over and over again if you don't use it, you get the money back and that was it. My fiancé read the fine print and they neglected to tell us you only get the money back as a store credit. Just sneaky little things. I would not shop here.
