Paid $16.75 for a bag of pecans. No expiration date and they were very old. Disappointed.

If you're crazy about nuts, then you should definitely stop off at this place. Its literally one minute off hwy 35, across the casino. They have homemade jars of jelly, salsas, bbq sauces, soup mixes and all. The staff is friendly and even has samples for people to try if you're unsure of an item.

We have been going to Mason's for years and have always been happy. Went Saturday and unfortunately, had an experience that will send us back to Renfroe's mail order. During an out-of-hand pandemic, none of the employees wore masks. When I asked the young woman behind the register why masks weren't being worn {especially in a store handling food), I received a flip "actually we're not required to wear them here". When I asked why it should be required to care about her health and the health of customers, I received a flippant head toss. What about common sense and the health of those you're helping? I refused to sign my sales receipt not wanting to touch a pen I'm sure many others had used after coughing or touching their faces. She insisted it be signed so my husband signed it and used hand sanitizer when he got into the car (as we do anyway). I fall into the high risk category for contracting and not surviving Covid. What about wearing masks when customers are in the store for THEIR health?? It's common sense but I guess she'll only care about her health, her family, friends and customers if it's mandated??? This is why the pandemic is out-of control. It wasn't so much that she is following non-mask compliance guidelines, but her smart attitude that put me off. I don't like snotty, dismissive attitudes from people whose salaries I'm paying by supporting their store. There are 10 different ways she could have said the same thing without being glib. While there, a woman came from the back with a fresh tray of cookies. Normally, I buy a dz of the type she brought out but no mask so I left with none. We spent a little short of $200 - not uncommon for us as we go only 4-5 times a year. The attitude of one snotty, young person has ended my, my sister's, my mother's patronage. How many lost customers can they afford before closing their doors? After all, the items they sell are not vital for survival.I know I'm not the only person who feels this way as another lady who was shopping mentioned her surprise that the employees were not wearing masks. She also mentioned that would be her last trip until the pandemic is over since the employees don't wear masks. Perhaps it's time to revisit the no-mask policy and talk to the young blond woman who worked the register about her attitude.
