Market 54

This place has some good options! I ended up buying 2 nice sized ribeyes from here and they turned out great!I would highly recommend this place over just about any other place that sells meat in Weatherford or Canton!This market has a variety of meats that surpass larger competitors.

For the past five years we have used MKT54 and been satisfied. Even helped them out when they were in a bind. (Needed a whole pig and ours was there.) I have recommended them to everyone I have came into Contact with. Be cause they have treated us fair.Today my wife goes to drop of our kids show animals. ( 2 daughters were heart broken) as we set the kill date in February for today for 1 goat, 1 lamb, and 2 pigs. As she gets there to drop them off she is informed that there isn't any notes about the pigs. (This wouldn't be a big deal but the soonest Kill date to bring them back is June 5th. 45 days out) Our pigs are weighing 360lb eating 8lb of feed a day. It is not feasible to feed them another 45 days.After the being argued with and with out any solution to the problem from them. We brought our animals home. So today when the kids get off the bus their animals are back. So we get to go through the emotions of loosing the animal they have tended to daily for the past 6 months to a year again.I totally understand they are a busy facility and have a schedule to hold. But there is no way they could have fit in 2 pigs with in the next week or so or perhaps tried to work something out?? Weather it was them or us it was a misunderstanding and I am not blaming them or taking the credit for the mistake. But not working with us at all and being rude and unprofessional about it is unacceptable.There are other facilities out there that will be glad to have the business that y'all don't want.

Terrible people. Don't do business here. They have done tons of other dirty as well, with the services they provide it will be shut down sooner than later.

Absolutely superb meat market. Service cannot be beat and the quality of their meat is wonderful. Their fresh cut steaks are far better than anything I've ever gotten in a restaurant. Highly recommend!

the beef we got butchered there stunk when we cooked it and it was an off color like it was rotten. the beef tasted how it smelled. went back and asked them about it and said it was a normal thing and it was our beef. went to another butcher shop and it was NOT like that it was in good shape and WASNT ROTTEN!! the packaging from market 54 was ripped and it exposed our beef. so gross and not sanitary. do not go there if you want something butchered right.
